Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamarah Wild.
Hi Tamarah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started with one pet sitting job. My daughter had been doing it, but she moved too far away to continue. The client lived close to my full-time job, so I agreed to take it on. That one job quickly turned into nearly a dozen more through word of mouth.
Many of the pets I cared for were seniors with the normal aches, pains, and mobility issues that come with aging. I found myself asking, “Is canine massage a thing?” I researched it, traveled to Ohio, and trained at Brandenburg Massage Therapy to become a certified canine massage therapist.
I’ve always loved learning, especially when it means I can better help animals. That led me to explore what else I could offer the pets and families I worked with. I went on to train in Reiki and became a certified Reiki Master Practitioner, work I’ve now practiced for nearly a decade.
Later, I took introductory classes in animal communication simply because I was curious about it. The more I learned, the more intrigued I became, which led me to study under Cara Gubbins, one of the most respected animal communication instructors in the world.
After working with hundreds of clients, I realized the most painful experience many people face is the passing of their animal companion. The grief, guilt, and unanswered questions can be overwhelming: “Did my pet suffer?” “Is he angry with me?” “Where is she now?” “Is she okay?”
The unknown can be emotionally devastating.
That realization led me to study mediumship under Suzanne Giesemann, widely regarded as one of the most recognized mediums in the world. That training was profoundly life-changing for me personally, but it also gave me the ability to offer clients something deeply meaningful: clarity, healing, comfort, and closure.
I also work with families whose pets are approaching the end of life. People often ask: “Is he in pain?” “Is she ready to go?” “Is she staying for me?”
I’m able to ask the animal directly, understand their perspective, and communicate their wishes for this chapter of their life. Giving animals a voice and a sense of agency is deeply important to me.
I don’t view pets as possessions. I believe they are divine souls who enter our lives to help us learn, heal, grow, and evolve. Over the years, I’ve had countless animals share why they are with their people, how they’ve supported them spiritually and emotionally, and the soul agreements underlying those relationships.
When people begin to see animals not simply as companions, but as souls with purpose and consciousness, their entire perspective changes.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The most challenging part of being an animal intuitive and medium is supporting people through the stages of preparing for the death of their beloved companion, the transition itself, and the heartbreak that follows. It is a profound privilege to be invited into such a sacred chapter of someone’s life, but even sacred work can carry great emotional weight.
On one side is the earthly suffering, grief, fear, and longing. On the other is the unfiltered joy, peace, and continued connection that exists beyond the veil. They are two sides of the same coin.
Because of that, it is essential that I remain grounded, clear, and energetically neutral. The messages animals share with me are often words their humans will carry for the rest of their lives. Final reassurances. Expressions of love. Messages that echo in the heart long after the moment has passed.
There is a divinity in those conversations that is both heartbreaking and deeply healing at the same time.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an animal communicator and medium. I bridge the communication gap, giving animals a way to be heard.
People reach out to me for many different reasons. They want to understand what their beloved companion is thinking, feeling, needing, or trying to communicate. Sometimes it’s connected to illness, injury, anxiety, trauma, behavioral changes, or end-of-life concerns. Other times, it’s simply because they want to know what would make their animal even happier, more comfortable, or more fulfilled.
And sometimes, the connection comes after a pet has transitioned from the physical body back into spirit. In those moments, people often carry grief, guilt, unanswered questions, or a deep need for reassurance. They want to know their pet is still present in spirit, at peace, and aware of how deeply they were loved.
What makes my work unique is that animals often communicate far beyond day-to-day thoughts or emotions. They frequently share why they are with the humans in their lives — the deeper purpose of the bond, the healing they came to facilitate, the lessons tied to the relationship, and the soul contracts they share with different members of the family.
They often explain the energetic role they’ve played in a person’s life, what they were helping their human through emotionally or spiritually, and sometimes even why they needed to leave when they did.
These conversations can be profoundly healing because they shift the relationship from “pet ownership” into a deeper understanding of companionship, growth, healing, and soul connection.
My role is to serve as the bridge between animals and the humans who love them — helping both feel seen, understood, and connected
