My name is Isis Colbert, and I am a licensed cosmetologist, entrepreneur, and proud mother of my 3-year-old daughter. My journey began when I discovered my passion for the beauty world while attending cosmetology school. After becoming licensed, I worked hard to build my skills and grow my clientele, eventually creating a successful braiding business in East Texas.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Along the way, I’ve faced challenges that have helped shape who I am today. As a mother, balancing business ownership and raising my daughter has required determination, resilience, and faith. Being a mom has motivated me to work harder, pursue my goals, and create a better future for both of us.
