Life & Work with James Smith of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to James Smith.

Hi James, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started with a cassette tape freestyling and recording on a recorder, they told me and my artist partner that it sounds like an album. So you took one song and enter the context for the radio station, be a family day at the park, football games interviews open up a minute orders back in the day duce comrades, pastor Troy, Little Jon, Ying Yang twins, Little Scrappy. You name it even did tools in South Carolina, North Carolina Virginia, been in the game since I was nine. Been around a lot of major orders before they blew up. Try to live a normal life for some years and it didn’t work out and I meant Sir Charles and BadNewz, and legacy City that now lives in San Antonio Texas, they help me get my paperwork right give me life lessons. I grew up with Tonio Armani, and BadNewz. Now that I’m older I’m in the Southern Soul market, I actually owned a couple of shows like Dallaswood, that comes on cordiur TV, they can be downloaded on the Roku stick. A trip all around different states doing shows, I recorded my adventures. I am also on a reality TV show called joke joint love. How many other things to come so please stay tuned my journey should be a movie I enjoy every moment of it it made me who I am today the artist known as Big B Silver, my man came from I rather have Jesus than silver in the gold. We started out with positive music and to this day I do not cuss on my music I made music for ladies and patrol audiences, I do do hip hop rap r&B country, I am definitely around jewel in the industry but sometimes it’s hard to place me because you don’t know what genre I am unless you meet me and you realize that I’m capable of doing shows and all genres, still evolving still growing name still expanding stay tuned

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road I have been homeless for a while to make sacrifices I ran a trucking company and I parked my truck because I was told spiritually to let go of my worldly thing I have experienced up down in life and I have many testimonies which really makes my skills sense stronger than able to relate and blend into any environment.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a artist that specialize in all genres, I am a promoter, I drive any type of vehicle I also escort celebrities, and I do security sometime for Don P who is also a major artist in the industry. I am the guy that you call when you need something I can make it happen. I am proud of the blessings and opportunity that God gave me to use me as a tool in the industry and make a difference.

How do you define success?
Being a millionaire as a state of mind, success is peace, your art is your heart. And when one in a roll that he’s meant to be in. Everything kind of come together. I have owned businesses houses etc. and nothing give me more peace than doing what I love to do not chasing money.
