Rising Stars: Meet Addi Christensen of Other

Today we’d like to introduce you to Addi Christensen.

Hi Addi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Addi Christensen is a convert to Catholicism, coming from a Lutheran background. She had a conversion of heart to Catholicism in 2012, but was not confirmed in the Church till July 28th, 2018 – the first feast day of her confirmation saint, Blessed Father Stanley Rother. As a young adult, Addi found deep consolation from hearing other testimonies of conversion to the Catholic Church. It wasn’t until September 8th 2025, on the feast day of The Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary that Voices of Conversion released it’s first episode.

In the coming months, the podcast has resulted in over 10k weekly listeners and is now in the top 1% of all podcasts. The biggest consolation from Voices of Conversion is the fruit of conversions, from the seeds planted with the podcast- there have already been multiple people who are joining the Church as a result of the stories aired on the show.

Mrs. Christensen holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, and spent several years post-graduation working at pregnancy resource centers as a client advocate – assisting mothers facing unplanned pregnancies.

Now, she is currently a graduate student, pursuing her masters of science in Criminal Justice. Addi devotes her time to this apostolate and raising her domestic church, with her supportive and encouraging husband.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like with any endeavor, there have been many learning curves along the way. I had to teach myself video editing, completely from scratch. Building a returning audience from zero, with no backing from a major institution was a feat. But with many hours of hard work and prayers we made it. Thousands of people tune in each week, and more importantly we are sharing stories that uplift the soul and point towards eternity.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Voices of Conversion is my podcast, which has reached over 200,000 people since launching this past September. I share stories of conversion to the Catholic Church. Humans love storytelling, that is a major part of the Bible, and we still have stories of faith to share today. People love to be encouraged by others and feel great consolation from hearing these stories.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Don’t be afraid of rejection. When, not if, you experience it – just keep pushing on. Success will come, you just need to adapt to feedback from people who will give you an objective opinion and improve every day.
