Meet Holden Gound of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Holden Gound.

Hi Holden , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I went to Ubbi Dubbi as a fan for the first time in 2024. Went back to Ubbi Dubbi again in 2025 and bought everything I needed to teach myself to dj like 3 days after the festival. We were in the middle of GorillaT’s set and that’s when I knew I was going to do this. I always had a feeling I would pursue music but I didn’t know when or how. I used to mess around in garage band when I was 18 but never took it seriously until now. Fast forward to today. I made my debut at Ubbi Dubbi 2026 to perform.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been crazy. I went into this thinking no big deal and not knowing what to expect but things have been taking off and I feel blessed. Just wanting to keep the ball rolling and keep getting more direct support and festival slots. Also going to be releasing music. At first I was very overwhelmed trying to learn everything about this overnight. I had to slow down and take things step by step. That’s been the biggest struggle. Having to take things bit by bit because there is so much that goes into music.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I try to bring a vibe and good time with my sets. I also want you to get a feel for my tastes and personality through my sets. What I most proud of is playing the festival that got me into seriously pursuing music in a years time. I think what sets me apart from others is trying not to sound like anyone but me and staying true to myself.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I played sports and rode motocross. I was always a social and outgoing person.
