Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Williams.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my company to serve as a resource to the community and to help create learning advantaged environments for anyone who functions within the neurodivergent space. Five years ago, I began to have tinnitus and thought, how can I alleviate my tinnitus? I was working in custom home construction and started to have conversations with different trades about ways to alleviate certain environmental factors through materials and methods. One conversation led to the another, one meeting to another, and ultimately I began to realize there was an opportunity to make a difference. From neurodivergent individuals on the spectrum or the annoyance of the ringing of tinnitus, there are solutions to create a better environment and help manage many of the associated symptoms. We create custom spaces designed inside the home for the specific neurological needs of the individual/s….in short we consider how to make your home a place of rest and sanctuary, adjusting the knobs (per say) where they need adjusting for specific sensory perception. Everything that we do is customized to the individual/s or family’s needs. We have recently began working in conjunction with neurodivergent doctors to create a blueprint for specific solution sets based on medical recommendations and client desired outcomes. If you’re interested in a custom designed space for optimized brain function, learning development or specific medical needs that looks and feels like any other installation, we’d love to help:
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We pride ourselves on confidentiality, keeping our clients names and details close to the vest, so marketing our work has strictly been through networking, partnerships, and referrals. Our largest growth opportunity moving forward is maintaining confidence while growing the network and working naturally through our partnerships. Our objective is to help not create additional stigmas.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work is designing and constructing sensory specific home installations for the needs of individuals within the neurodivergent community. We build sensory specific spaces or entire homes based on the neurological conditions and needs of those conditions. We tailor our offering based on consultation and partnership with medical professionals who actively practice and collaborate with us on cases. Our work is a true win-win. Helping families create spaces for optimal mental health based on real medical data makes for a more intelligently designed home. I’m proud to say the we provide our clients with a true trailer space. From a home office, a study, a bedroom, or even a designated play space. We consider all the senses and the needs of those living in those spaces to make home a safe space.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My wife Jessica is always supportive, Jason Baird who helps with backend work, and Sam Peters my medical ace in the space. Brian Hoyer on the construction side of things just to name a few. Everyone I have spoken in depth about our work sees the value and wants to help.
