Today we’d like to introduce you to Yassmine Rose.
Hi Yassmine, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I noticed from a young age that I didn’t experience pleasure the way my friends did. They would talk about intimacy and their bodies, and I couldn’t relate. I genuinely thought something was wrong with me.
That question led me on a journey to understand why.
Years later, through pelvic floor therapy, somatic healing, breathwork, meditation and deep inner work, I uncovered memories of childhood sexual abuse that I had completely forgotten. My body had disconnected from sensation as a way to protect me.
Everything finally made sense.
Instead of seeing my body as broken, I began to understand its wisdom.
Over the last 13 years, I’ve devoted my life to studying Tantra, Taoist practices, somatics, nervous system regulation, trauma healing and embodiment. Through this work, I reconnected not only to pleasure, but to joy, confidence, peace, self-love and a deep sense of being at home in my own body.
Along the way I realized that pleasure isn’t just about sexuality. It’s our life force. When we’re disconnected from our bodies, we’re often disconnected from our emotions, our voice, our intuition and our ability to create meaningful relationships.
My own healing became my purpose.
Today I guide women, men and couples back into their bodies. I help them reconnect with their emotions, release stored tension and trauma, awaken their life force and cultivate deeper intimacy with themselves and the people they love.
My mission is simple: to help people remember that healing doesn’t happen by escaping the body. It happens by coming home to it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not.
I think every challenge I’ve experienced has shaped the way I serve today.
One of the biggest was healing my own body. There were years where I felt disconnected from myself and didn’t understand why. I had to face trauma I didn’t even remember, learn how to regulate my nervous system and slowly rebuild a relationship with my body. That wasn’t something that happened overnight. It took years of devotion, humility and showing up for myself over and over again.
Building this work has also come with its own challenges. Tantra is one of the most misunderstood modalities in the world. People often project their own assumptions onto it without understanding the depth of the healing that’s possible. I’ve had to learn how to stand firmly in my integrity, educate people and stay rooted in my mission even when others didn’t understand it.
There have also been personal challenges. Losing my mother was one of the hardest experiences of my life. There were moments where I questioned everything. But even in my grief, I came back to the same thing I teach my clients: stay with your body, feel what’s there and let life move through you instead of pushing it away.
I think that’s what resilience has become for me. Not pretending everything is okay or trying to be strong all the time, but trusting that every challenge carries an invitation to grow.
Looking back, I’m grateful for all of it because it allows me to sit with my clients from a place of lived experience, not just knowledge. I know what it’s like to feel disconnected. I know what it’s like to rebuild yourself. And I know what’s possible when you commit to coming home to yourself.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a Sacred Sexuality Intimacy Coach, Somatic Trauma-Informed Practitioner and Taoist Embodiment Coach. For the last 13 years, I’ve dedicated my life to studying the body, nervous system, pleasure, intimacy and human connection.
I work with women, men and couples who feel disconnected from themselves, whether that’s because of trauma, stress, relationship challenges, burnout or simply feeling like they’ve lost touch with who they are. Through Tantra, Taoist practices, somatics, breathwork, nervous system regulation and embodiment, I help people reconnect to their bodies, their emotions and their life force.
What I’m probably best known for is creating spaces where people feel safe enough to finally let go. Whether it’s grief, shame, tension, emotional pain or years of holding everything together, my work helps people reconnect to parts of themselves they thought were lost.
I’m especially passionate about helping women reclaim their relationship with their bodies. So many women have spent years disconnected from their pleasure, their voice and their feminine power. Watching a woman go from feeling numb, disconnected or afraid to feeling confident, expressed and deeply connected to herself is one of the greatest gifts of my work.
I also work with men who want to move beyond performance and reconnect with presence, confidence and authentic masculinity, and with couples who are ready to create deeper intimacy, trust and communication.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t see pleasure as something separate from healing. To me, pleasure is life force. It’s how we know we’re connected to ourselves.
I also train women that desire to be in service thorugh bodywork, trauma helaing and energy practice thorugh the priestess mystery school.
I also don’t teach from theory alone. Everything I share has come from my own journey of healing, years of study and thousands of hours working one-on-one with clients. I know what it feels like to be disconnected from your body, and I know what’s possible when you learn to feel safe enough to come home to it again.
What I’m most proud of isn’t the certifications or the modalities I’ve studied. It’s witnessing people leave feeling more alive than when they walked in. Seeing someone reconnect to their body, trust themselves again and experience deeper love, confidence and freedom is why I do this work.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
One of the things I enjoy most about Dallas is the people. I’ve met such a supportive community of entrepreneurs and professionals who are genuinely invested in their personal growth. There’s a strong networking culture here, and I love connecting with people who are building meaningful businesses while also wanting to become better partners, leaders and human beings.
I also appreciate how much the wellness scene has grown. There are beautiful med spas, health clinics and practitioners who really value taking care of the body, and I love seeing more people prioritize their wellbeing.
Whenever I’m in Dallas, I also enjoy getting outside. Spending time in nature helps me slow down and recharge, especially after working so deeply with clients.
If I had to choose one thing I’d love to see more of, it would be even more spaces where people can gather in authentic community. We have so many successful, driven people here, but I think there’s also a real desire for deeper human connection. I’d love to see more places where people can come together to build meaningful relationships, support one another and feel a true sense of belonging.
