Meet ASHLEY MACK of Other

Today we’d like to introduce you to ASHLEY MACK.

Hi ASHLEY, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Ashley Mack, and I’m the founder of Feelin’ Drippy Mobile IV Therapy. I’ve spent over 16 years in healthcare and the last few years as a Registered Nurse, currently working full time in the operating room. Throughout my career, I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel their best, not just treating them when they’re sick.

That passion led me to start Feelin’ Drippy. I saw a growing need for convenient, evidence based wellness services that fit into people’s busy lives. Whether it’s helping someone recover after a tough workout, bounce back from illness, prepare for travel, or simply stay hydrated during the Texas heat, I wanted to make high quality IV therapy more accessible.

Starting a business while working full time as a nurse has definitely come with challenges. There have been a lot of early mornings, late nights, and weekends spent building everything from the ground up. But every obstacle has reinforced why I started in the first place.

Today, Feelin’ Drippy offers both mobile concierge IV therapy and an in suite wellness lounge inside Hidden Gym in Allen, giving clients the flexibility to receive treatments wherever they’re most comfortable. My goal has always been to create an experience that is safe, convenient, and focused on helping people replenish, restore, and perform at their best.

I’m excited to continue growing, serving our local communities, and educating people on how proactive wellness can help them feel their best every day.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, but I think that’s what makes the journey so rewarding. Building a healthcare business comes with unique challenges, especially in a highly regulated industry. There has been a steep learning curve navigating legal requirements, medical compliance, insurance, licensing, and creating safe systems that put patient care first.

On top of that, I’ve been building Feelin’ Drippy while working full time as an operating room nurse. Most of my business has been built during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and every spare moment in between. Like many small business owners, I’ve had to wear every hat, from clinician and marketer to website designer, accountant, customer service representative, and everything else.

One of the biggest challenges has been earning visibility as a brand new business. You’re competing with established companies while trying to educate people about what IV therapy actually is and who it can benefit. It takes consistency, patience, and a willingness to keep showing up even when results aren’t immediate.

Every challenge has taught me something valuable. Instead of looking for shortcuts, I’ve focused on building a business that people can trust by prioritizing safety, education, transparency, and genuine relationships with every client. Watching that hard work slowly turn into referrals, repeat clients, and community support has made every obstacle worth it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What I’m most proud of is building a business that prioritizes education, safety, and personalized care over quick sales. Every treatment begins with a complimentary telehealth consultation with our medical provider, and every client receives one on one attention to help determine the most appropriate treatment for their goals.

One of my favorite parts of this business is getting to know the people I care for. IV therapy gives me the opportunity to spend meaningful time with clients, learn about their lives, their health goals, and what brought them to me. Building those genuine relationships is incredibly rewarding, and it’s one of the reasons I love what I do.

I believe what sets Feelin’ Drippy apart is the combination of real clinical experience, convenience, and a truly personalized experience. Clients receive care from an experienced Registered Nurse in the comfort of their home, office, hotel, or at our Allen wellness lounge. My goal is to make wellness approachable, professional, and accessible while helping people feel their best so they can continue doing what they love.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’ve never believed that taking risks means being careless. To me, the best risks are the ones backed by preparation, education, and a willingness to work hard.

Starting Feelin’ Drippy while continuing to work full time as an Operating Room Registered Nurse has been the biggest professional risk I’ve ever taken. Building a healthcare business requires a significant investment of time, money, and energy, and there are no guarantees. Every month, there are real expenses that have to be covered before I ever see a profit. At the same time, my husband and I are preparing for the next chapter of our lives as we hope to start a family. There have been moments when the practical choice would have been to wait, but I knew I would always wonder “what if” if I never tried.

I also understood the responsibility that comes with providing medical services outside of a traditional hospital setting. That’s why I chose to move slowly, invest in the right training, partner with a medical director, build compliant systems, and prioritize patient safety over rapid growth. I believe earning trust is far more important than growing quickly.

My faith has also been a huge part of this journey. It gives me peace during the uncertain seasons and reminds me that my job is to serve people with excellence, integrity, and compassion. I believe that if I stay faithful to that purpose, continue working hard, and trust God with what I can’t control, everything else will unfold in His timing.

I think every entrepreneur takes risks, but the goal isn’t to eliminate risk. It’s to manage it wisely. If you’re willing to keep learning, adapt when things don’t go as planned, and stay committed to your purpose, those risks become opportunities for growth. Looking back, taking the leap to start Feelin’ Drippy has been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made.
