SJ’s Triple Scents was founded in 2012 by Anthony Spencer and Taiteana Spencer with a simple vision—to create high-quality, affordable fragrance products that bring warmth, comfort, and lasting memories into every home and office . What started as a passion for handcrafted candles and scented products has grown into a thriving small business offering candles, body oils, body sprays, room sprays, car sprays, wax melts, and more. Today, we’re proud to serve customers from our location inside The Shops at RedBird in Dallas, Texas, while also shipping across the United States. Over the years, we’ve remained committed to excellent customer service, quality products, and giving back to our community. Our journey has been built on faith, hard work, and the support of loyal customers who continue to help our dream grow.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like most small businesses, our journey has not always been a smooth road. We’ve faced challenges such as building brand awareness, navigating economic changes, managing inventory, and balancing business ownership with our personal and family responsibilities. There were times when sales were slow, and we had to get creative with marketing, attend community events, and consistently show up for our customers.
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is the importance of perseverance. Every obstacle has made us stronger and taught us how to adapt, improve, and continue growing. Through faith, determination, and the support of our loyal customers and community, SJ’s Triple Scents has continued to thrive. Those challenges have shaped who we are today and have made every milestone even more rewarding.
