Today we’d like to introduce you to Kriss.
Hi Kriss, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story is built on over 10 years of international and domestic experience in business administration, corporate finance, and supply chain management. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and my career began in Venezuela, where I designed and managed nationwide inventory procurement and distribution systems for retail branches operating under highly volatile market conditions.
Later, I moved to New York, where I stepped into a management role for a food distribution company. There, I specialized in building business infrastructure from scratch, establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs), automating tracking systems, and overseeing corporate finance and accounts receivable.
When I relocated to Texas, I noticed a significant gap in the automotive and transportation sectors. While these industries are critical to the U.S. infrastructure, local operations often struggle with efficiency, data management, and the administrative burdens of complex regulations. I realized that by combining my corporate administrative background with advanced, industry-standard platforms. I could bring corporate-level governance to this sector.
That realization brought me to where I am today, leading a vertically integrated automotive ecosystem in Garland, Texas. As Executive Director and COO of Iskom Motors and Senior Consultant for Iskom Collision Center, I oversee everything from vehicle acquisition logistics and in-house financing to precision structural repair under strict manufacturer guidelines and state compliance frameworks. It has been a journey of constant growth, and I am proud to lead an enterprise that combines technical excellence with deep community impact.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road, but every struggle along the way has shaped the executive I am today. My career has required me to adapt and rebuild business infrastructures in completely different markets and economic climates.
Early on, managing national supply chains and inventory procurement in Venezuela taught me how to survive and maintain continuous product availability under severe market volatility and constant economic disruption. Moving to New York presented a completely different challenge: stepping into a food distribution startup and building its organizational architecture from the ground up. I had to engineer climate-adaptive budgeting and logistics models to mitigate inventory risks tied to severe seasonal weather shifts, while implementing corporate automation systems so the company could operate independently.
Navigating those high-pressure environments gave me a deep expertise in operational resilience and risk mitigation. When I established our current operations in Texas, the struggle shifted toward mastering highly complex state and federal regulatory frameworks. For a business like Iskom Motors, ensuring absolute compliance with entities like the DMV and the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) requires extreme administrative precision.
So while the road has had its hurdles, those struggles are exactly why our operations are so resilient today. They taught me how to look at a local automotive business through the lens of data-driven corporate finance, strict legal compliance, and systematic automation. Overcoming those challenges is what allows us to protect our consumers, maintain flawless transparency with state regulators, and successfully scale our footprint.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At my core, I am an Operations, Supply Chain, and Automotive Business Infrastructure Specialist. I specialize in transforming fragmented, traditional automotive operations into highly optimized, data-driven corporate systems.
Through our vertically integrated ecosystem in Garland—Iskom Motors and Iskom Collision Center—I oversee a multi-channel operation that spans vehicle acquisition logistics, retail and wholesale sales, in-house financing, and complex insurance claims auditing. What I am truly known for in the industry is my ability to deploy automated standard operating procedures (SOPs) and establish strict financial and regulatory controls. I ensure that our operations seamlessly navigate complex state and federal frameworks.
When looking at what I am most proud of, it is the fact that we have proven that a local automotive enterprise can achieve elite institutional compliance while simultaneously driving massive social impact. I am incredibly proud of our structured second-chance workforce integration program, where we partner with local probation requirements to provide technical employment, financial stability, and executive mentorship to individuals transitioning from the correctional system. Alongside this, we actively onboard and mentor graduate-level technical school students within our collision facility, directly accelerating their entry into the specialized labor market.
What sets me apart from others in this industry is this exact blend of high-level corporate governance and community resilience. I don’t just look at an automotive business as a transactional shop; I view it through the lens of macro-level logistics, strict OEM manufacturer repair integrity, and systemic compliance. By leveraging advanced platforms like CCC ONE for line-by-line insurance auditing and Frazer for portfolio risk assessment, I eliminate the hidden inefficiencies that usually plague local businesses. We bring Fortune 500 operational precision and a deeply human purpose to the local Texas community
