Today we’d like to introduce you to Eve Rosja’.
Hi Eve, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Ive always grew up singing in the choir at my different levels of school. Loved doing Karaoke as a young adult, even had the opportunity to open just as a new artist for major acts including The Original Lakeside Band, Zapp Band, Cherelle and Alexander Oneil, RL from NEXXT, Chauncey from Blackstreet and others. But I was just singing to tracks, it wasn’t till I was bartending at a nightclub and they were doing live band karaoke and I was asked to sing a song. And sing a song I did!!! I did Dr. Feel Good. I had never performed with a live band before that point. I had no idea what a feeling that you receive until that point. Which from that feeling I tell people I do Feel Good Music. I was invited by that band to come to their rehearsals and from there my live music career took off and now I get to do it all over the world!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A the beginning of it all it has not been a smooth road at all. But nothing good comes easy. From finding the right event to get paid fairly, to Dealing with different venues and the vast array of clients you find a way to prioritize it all. Not even including the balance you have to find while raising kids as a single parent. But at the end of the day it’s worth it all once I get on stage.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Becoming as Artist, A Full-Time artist has been my dream is to help people in so many ways. Music is Life, Music is Therapy and I’ve been gifted the opportunity to share to the world taking the time to show them this is not just my job, but my passion. I show them love and walking them through the process with a voice that makes them feel good, and to just see people smile makes me know that they are feeling the music, walking around the room just seeing them so happy, gives me the satisfaction that I’m doing my job. When people come to my shows I want them to feel like it’s a one-on-one experience. As an Artist I sing the songs the way they are supposed to be sung, as an Artist, I want the people to HEAR the song with their ears and FEEL it in their Soul.
As an Artist I am proud of the gift GOD has giving me is this voice to make people feel good, and to have a lot to share. Most of all to be happy to be chosen to have a such a gift I’m Grateful.
As an Artist my energy is unmatched. Once I hit the stage Just be Ready to go on musical Journey!
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Well growing up I was one of 5 kids. I am a twin and with my name being Eve, but of course my twin brothers name is Adam….GET IT?! LOL Adam and Eve. I was always the leader of anything that mischievous lol. But I knew being a leader was in me. Growing up as the preacher’s child, did my life was strict, but structured. i didn’t grow up singing in the church but grew up singing acapella. So that’s helped a lot in my chosen career.
