Meet Ameerah Saine of Brunch and Slay

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ameerah Saine.

Ameerah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Prior to starting Brunch and Slay, I’d worked in sales, and traveled 85% of the time. I’d been relocated for work a few times and had a hard time connecting with women. (Where to make new friends, who do you brunch with, who do you build with etc.) So, I started out with the hopes to create a fun event series for multi-cultural women. I didn’t want to create a membership or something formal, I wanted to create a brand that would be inclusive, and fabulous at the same time.

What began as an event series has become a media company. We offer, events, podcast, classes, workshops, and experiences for women with a live your best life focus.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a pretty smooth road, the biggest problem I’ve had is explaining the name of the company, people tend to think we are a brunch meetup, and that’s ok with me. I realize it’s my job to inform and educate the market about our offerings.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Brunch and Slay – what should we know?
Brunch and Slay is a lifestyle brand, offering experiences, content, and inspiration for the empowered woman. We host a podcast, events, classes, pop-up’s, and workshops for the woman on a mission to live her best life. Our audience ranges in age from 25-42. They know what they want out of life and they want to be surrounded by women who are on the same page. We focus on health, self, and wealth offering private events, and uplifting content is what we are known for.

Since launching in 2016 we have created a space for pop-up events, and branded experiences. We’ve worked with Apple, Kroger, SoulCycle, NARS cosmetics, and Microsoft to name a few.

Brunch is something we do sometimes, but the most important this we do is SLAY, we do that by creating opportunities to connect without agenda or the pressure of corporate America. We are drawn to go-getters and women with moxie who are unapologetic about their ambition and where it is taking them.

Brunch and Slay is a lifestyle, we are more than panels and speakers. We aren’t focused on just business, we are focused. enhancing our quality of life on all levels and having a blast while doing it.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Consistency is the most important part of my success. If I don’t follow through daily I have nothing. Consistency is the key to turning dreams into reality.
