Chante, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started admiring hairstyles as a young girl while brushing through my father’s hair. I continued to have an interest by the age of 12 years old. I started with being my own beautician and going to study cosmetology through high school. I became licensed in 2001. I started building clientele base throughout the DFW. I learned to specialize in many ethic hairstyles. They included braiding, weaving, hair extensions, cut and styling, coloring, and lashes. I eventually moved to my own personal salon. I love the fact of having personal and secluded time with each client. I’m always open to learning and critiquing new things. I love keeping new and returning clients. My knowledge and vision will never stop. My ultimate goal is to open up a full-service salon boutique.
Has it been a smooth road?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road. Because I am a single parent, at time it was hard to balance between the two. I have battled with leaving the industry throughout the younger part of my life. I ran away from my gift plenty of times.

My business is professional and unique. I am in a private suite. I specialize in weaving, braiding, hair extensions, cuts and styles. hair coloring, and lashes. I am proud that I am my own boss. I can make my own hours and rules. I think was set me apart from others is the fact that I can do just about anything.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like best about Dallas is that there is so much versatility. The least thing I like about our city would probably be the pollen and weather.
