Aisha R. H-Jones’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We recently had the chance to connect with Aisha R. H-Jones and have shared our conversation below.

Aisha R., so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about your customers?
It’s not really surprising, but one of the biggest things I’ve learned is that people do business with who they like and trust. I always knew this in theory but have learned to focus on it much more deeply. When you show up as yourself, authentic and genuinely caring, you naturally attract the right clients. People can feel when your energy is real, and that builds trust without forcing it. Focusing on serving rather than selling helps clients feel seen and supported, which creates real impact in their lives. Often, this also inspires them to share their experience with others, which is a beautiful reflection of trust built through genuine relationships.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Aisha R. H-Jones, and I am a speaker, author, certified life and financial literacy coach, NLP practitioner, and founder of Green Rose Empire. I help people transform their lives through mindset shifts, financial literacy, and practical strategies that create real results.

My journey began as a teen mom who faced homelessness and bad credit, an experience that sparked my mission to break generational cycles and help others do the same. Over nearly 30 years, I have expanded from helping individuals restore their credit to guiding them in building personal and business credit, navigating taxes, and strengthening their mindset. I blend practical financial strategies with mindset work to help people reclaim confidence, build wealth, and achieve their goals.

As a speaker, I am passionate about equipping audiences with tools to shift their mindsets, build wealth, and take aligned action in their lives and businesses. I also provide one-on-one mindset coaching and group coaching, helping individuals break through limitations and step fully into the lives they desire.

I am also a two-time author. In 2022, I released You Are The Shift: Quotes to Soothe Your Soul on Your Journey to Self-Discovery, a collection of motivational quotes encouraging readers to embrace healing and growth. In January 2025, I released Fix Your Shift: 12 Steps to Transform Your Life Now, a practical guide to creating meaningful change. I am currently working on a companion journal and workbook to support readers in applying these principles to their daily lives.

At Green Rose Empire, we don’t just teach financial literacy or mindset. We help clients create lasting change by bridging inner work with real-world strategy in personal credit, taxes, business credit, and financial confidence. It’s about building a life and business you love while staying true to who you are.

In addition to my work with Green Rose Empire, I am the founder of Simply Technology 4 Kids, a nonprofit providing laptops, technology resources to help close the technology gap for students in underserved communities.

I am excited to continue expanding this mission by partnering with organizations and events that align with these values through speaking opportunities and community collaborations that empower and inspire others.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I believed that where you start determines where you end up. Growing up in the projects, I thought the small apartment we shared with over 20 family members defined the limits of what was possible for me. I thought being a teen mom and experiencing homelessness meant I would always struggle.

But through faith, mindset shifts, and aligned action, I learned I could fix my shift and change the direction of my life. I went from being denied housing due to bad credit to becoming a homeowner by 23. I went back to school, earned my degrees, and built businesses that allowed me to help others transform their own lives.

This journey is why I wrote Fix Your Shift. I wanted people to know that your circumstances don’t define you. You have the power to shift your mindset, take aligned action, and create a life you love, regardless of where you begin. That’s the message I live by, and it’s the reason I continue this work today.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be, “Your tears are not in vain.” I would tell her that the pain she feels now will one day become the passion that helps others heal. I would remind her that it’s okay to dream big, to trust her intuition, and to stay true to herself, even if others don’t understand. I would let her know that every challenge she’s walking through is preparing her to build a life rooted in faith, purpose, and strength. Most of all, I would remind her that she is loved, chosen, and fully capable of creating the life she imagines, one step at a time.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
I believe that every version of us already exists, even if we can’t see it yet. The healed version, the wealthy version, the confident version, it’s all within us, waiting for us to align with it. I believe that the dreams we carry aren’t random; they are glimpses of what’s possible when we trust God, take aligned action, and allow ourselves to grow into who we are meant to be. I can’t prove it on paper, but I’ve seen it play out in my own life, and I’ve watched it unfold in the lives of the people I work with. We are always one mindset shift away from stepping into a new reality.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
If I laid down my name, role, and possessions, what would remain is my faith, my resilience, and the love I give. Titles and things can be taken, but the lessons I’ve learned, the wisdom I’ve gained, and the way I make people feel can’t be stripped away. What would remain is my purpose to serve, to encourage, and to remind others of their power, even when they can’t see it for themselves. At the core, I am someone who believes in transformation and in the power of hope to turn any situation around, no matter how impossible it looks.
