Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Adam Frost, founder and lead instructor of Highland Park Guitar Lessons in Dallas, Texas. I have over 15 years of professional guitar playing experience and more than 10 years of teaching private guitar lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
At Highland Park Guitar Lessons, we specialize in private, one-on-one guitar lessons in Dallas as well as online guitar lessons for students across the U.S. and worldwide via Zoom, FaceTime, and Skype. Whether you’re looking for in-person guitar lessons in DFW or flexible online guitar instruction from home, we provide personalized, results-driven training tailored to your goals.
We teach children (ages 10+), teens, adults, and seniors, from complete beginners learning their first chords to advanced guitarists focused on technique, improvisation, songwriting, and performance. Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Not recognizing each other deserve the same respect and dignity we want and the breaking of trust. What restores us is forgiving and focusing on growing together and having empathy towards each other, recognizing we are all suffering in one way or another.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
It taught me how to truly love and accept myself and I wouldn’t have such a need for that if I had only success. But success is more fun for sure.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
I believe that personal connection is the true foundation of effective teaching. You can’t fully quantify trust, inspiration, or the moment when someone finally believes in themselves—but those invisible elements are what make real progress possible.
