Good morning Alberto , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
I wake up, get a cold cup of water, feed the dog, and make myself lunch. After that I do some voice work, send some emails and wait for my wife to come home to make dinner. Pretty simple day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Alberto J Garcia, I’m a voice actor from Texas and I am also co founder of PutoTyra studios and animation production company. I’ve been in many animated projects like Puzzle n Sling Boredom Killers, Covered UP and Mr Vessel.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I believed that no one would ever want to hear me talk. I was always told I was too loud and obnoxious, little did I know that loudness and annoying nature would get me to where I am today!
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Keep going, it’ll all make sense soon.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’d say so, I think I’m way more quiet and to myself when I’m not in a social setting. I like having a cup of tea and listen to podcasts or old school video game videos.
