Hi Brendon , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Creativity – opening your mind to its “flow state” where you are learning, experiencing, or producing something new. Being in an uninterrupted flow-state while creating is my favorite past time, and it is also when I experience the quickest passing of time.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, I’m RadWulf, an independent electronic dance music producer and DJ from the US. My sound mixes pop-infused synths, vocal-driven grooves, and futuristic experimental elements, all tied to a cosmic theme of a space pirate exploring the universe.
Since debuting in April 2022, I’ve gained traction with hundreds of millions of streams across platforms, many shows at international festivals, and content that builds a dedicated fan community. Tracks like “Save Me Now” and “No Stopping” have connected with listeners, leading to millions of annual plays.
What stands out is the DIY approach. No labels, just direct fan support fueling growth. Right now, I’m developing new music and live experiences to keep that interstellar vibe alive. If electronic music with a sense of adventure appeals, dive in.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
One moment that flipped my worldview was wandering through teamLab Borderless in Tokyo a few years back. The space is this infinite, interactive digital wonderland. Walls bloom with flowers as you move, and lights sync to your heartbeat, all blending art, tech, and emotion into something utterly communal. It hit me hard: storytelling isn’t just words or notes. It’s about crafting experiences that dissolve boundaries and pull strangers into shared wonder.
That clicked with memories of childhood Disney trips, where the parks’ magic made the impossible feel real, fostering joy across generations. It was much like diving into Marvel’s Spider-Man comics under Stan Lee’s visionary touch, turning everyday heroes into icons that inspired resilience and connection in kids like me. Fast-forward to my first EDC Las Vegas. Thousands pulsed as one under neon skies, lost in beats and lights. These aren’t just events. They’re proof that creativity and culture can unite us, heal divides, and spark belonging.
It’s why my music and shows aim for that immersion. It’s a portal to escape, connect, and dream bigger. The world feels less lonely when we build those bridges together.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Oh yeah, there have been plenty of moments where I’ve stared at the ceiling at 3 a.m., wondering if this independent artist grind was worth it, like after a string of zero-response releases or when the algorithm just buried my tracks. But giving up? It was never really on the table. If you truly love what you’re doing, that passion acts like an anchor. It keeps you from drifting away.
I’ve learned the hard way that the path might zig-zag. Maybe a certain promo tactic flops or the timing’s off. But if the core idea feels right, like it could connect with people and add something real to the world, you pivot and keep pushing.
For me, success isn’t about landing a fat label deal or millions in streams overnight. It’s about getting my stories and sounds out there, so even one person nods along and feels seen. As a solo project with no investors or big-money backing like so many others get, I’ve had to redefine it on my terms: slow, steady wins that feel authentic.
Looking back, I’m thrilled I stuck it out. The gradual build of the Wulfpack community has shown me consistency trumps shortcuts every time. It’s made the ride uniquely mine, and that’s the real payoff.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m all in on this trilogy project for RadWulf, a full narrative arc I’ve been building since day one. Before I even dropped my first tracks, I mapped out the entire story: a space pirate’s journey through chaos, redemption, and unity, with a clear purpose to inspire escape and connection in listeners. The plan? One album per chapter, turning lore into soundscapes that pull people into the world.
Just last month, I released Vortex, the first installment, and the response has been incredible, fans diving deep into the vibes and sharing how it hit home. It fuels me to keep going, no matter the timeline, because this isn’t just music, it’s a belief in stories that stick and build community. The next two albums are locked in my sights, ready to complete the saga and amplify our cause. Slow burn or not, it’s worth every step.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
Honestly, legacy stuff doesn’t keep me up at night. What matters most is that RadWulf’s story, character, and music outlive me, giving people something to connect with and draw inspiration from long after I’m gone. If that happens, mission accomplished.
As for misunderstandings? Everyone brings their own lens to it, and I genuinely love hearing those takes, whether they see it as pure escapism, a call to adventure, or something else entirely. It’s all valid, and that’s the beauty of creating something open-ended.
