Open my eyes, first words thank you Lord. I go into my prayer clothes sit quietly for 10-20 minutes. Then I pray to begin to command my day, thank God, cover love ones, ask for wisdom and discernment.

A Woman Of Substance
“My heart is touched when those who are in turmoil find the answer, embrace it and transform the situation from a burden to a blessing.”

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
A bond or bondage can only be broken when an individual finds the courage to confront what has them bound.

Acknowledgment is the first and most powerful step, because it positions a person to face the truth and begin the healing process. It is through this process that one moves toward genuine freedom from oppression, shame, and the limitations that once held them captive.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has taught me that every challenge and season of brokenness was never meant to destroy me, but to develop me.
Each experience has been a tool to build my character and reveal the power of God in my life. God uses every trial as an opportunity to shape His character within us.

While success can often be achieved through hard work, dedication, and commitment, true character and maturity are formed only by the hands of God.”

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, absolutely what you see publicly is a reflection of who I truly am. I don’t believe in deception or giving others false narratives. While I am a work in progress and have my own faults and challenges like anyone else, I don’t hide them. Instead, I use my experiences as testimonies of the goodness and mercy of God.

I know that sometimes people assume those they see publicly have it all together, but that’s never the case. I want to be relatable and authentic, so when my audience sees me, they see someone who faces challenges, grows through them, and relies on God every step of the way.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I pray that the life I’ve lived will be a testimony in itself, long after I’m gone.

I’ve sought to love God with all my heart and to serve His people faithfully. I’ve tried to treat others the way I would want to be treated and to leave a positive impact in every life I touch. My hope is that even in my absence, the way I lived will continue to inspire and encourage others.”
