An Inspired Chat with Jessica Rikhlyuk of Dallas

We recently had the chance to connect with Jessica Rikhlyuk and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Jessica, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
One of the biggest misunderstandings about digital marketing is that people often think it’s just about posting on social media. While social media marketing is one piece of the puzzle, digital marketing as a whole is much broader.

Digital marketing encompasses everything from paid advertising like Google Ads and Facebook or Instagram campaigns to SEO, website optimization, email marketing, content strategy, and more. It’s about building a full ecosystem that supports business visibility, lead generation, and long-term growth.

Social media marketing is important for presence and community building, but it’s only effective when supported by a solid digital foundation and strategy. At Joyify Collective, we take a full-scope approach that looks at a business’s entire digital infrastructure. We analyze what’s working, identify gaps, and create a strategic plan tailored to that business’s goals and industry.

Marketing is not just about being seen. It is about being seen by the right people, in the right place, at the right time. That is what effective digital marketing helps make possible.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jessica Joy and I am the founder of Joyify Collective, a digital marketing business focused on helping home service providers and real estate professionals grow online. I began my journey in Dallas nine years ago after moving from Chicago, starting in marketing within the hail industry and working my way up through experience and persistence. In 2024, I launched Joyify Collective with the vision of creating something strategic, personal, and results driven.

What makes Joyify Collective unique is our ability to see the full picture. We do not just offer marketing services. We assess a business’s digital foundation, identify what is missing, and create a data based plan to help them grow. Every decision is backed by analytics, because numbers guide everything we do.

As a single mom of two, my story is rooted in resilience and determination. I named the business after my middle name, Joy, to reflect both my personal journey and the energy I bring to my work.

Right now, we are focused on continuing to help businesses strengthen their digital presence through PPC management, Facebook and Instagram ads, and SEO. The goal is always the same, which is to help businesses grow with intention and measurable results.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose and must now be released is the need to please everyone. Growing up in an immigrant family, I learned early on to keep the peace, not make waves, and put others’ needs before my own. That mindset helped me navigate tough situations and survive environments where I had to stay small to stay safe.

As a business owner, a mother, and a woman rebuilding her life on her own terms, I have realized that playing small no longer serves me. I cannot build something meaningful or lead others if I am constantly second guessing myself or shrinking to make others comfortable.

I am learning to let go of the version of me that needed everyone’s approval. I am choosing to show up fully, to take up space, and to make decisions based on what aligns with my values, not what will keep everyone happy. Releasing that part of me is not easy, however it is necessary for the woman and leader I am becoming.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell her, “You didn’t do anything wrong.”

Not for being sensitive. Not for being too loud or too quiet. Not for making mistakes, or trying to be strong when it hurt, or needing more than anyone gave you.

I’d tell her she was never too much, and she never had to earn love by being perfect or easy to manage.

I’d sit beside her and say, “You’re safe now. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself anymore. I’ve got you.”

And I’d remind her that everything she dreamed is all coming true. She becomes a mother. A leader. A woman who does things differently. And she did it all without losing her heart or herself.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
A cultural value I protect at all costs is the empowerment of women. As a female founder, a single mom, and someone who built a business from the ground up, I know what it feels like to be underestimated, overlooked, or expected to choose between motherhood and ambition. I refuse to accept that narrative.

I believe in creating space for women to lead, to own their voice, and to build something that is truly theirs. In my business and in my life, I support women without hesitation. I do not compete but rather I collaborate. This doesn’t make me shrink and instead I can show up fully and authentically. With that mindset I hopefully encourage every woman around me to do the same.

Empowering women is not just a value for me, it is something I live. Whether it is through the way I raise my daughter, lead my clients, or mentor others, I am committed to building a world where women are respected, resourced, and never have to apologize for being bold.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, I think my customers would miss the level of care and attention I bring to their business. I do not just manage campaigns, I take the time to truly understand what is holding them back. I ask the right questions, look at the data, and find the gaps that others often overlook.

What sets my work apart is not just my technical knowledge, but my ability to see both the bigger picture and the small details that make a difference. I treat every business like it is my own, and I genuinely want my clients to grow and succeed.

They would also miss my data driven approach. I do not make decisions based on assumptions. I rely on what the numbers tell us, and I use that insight to create strategies that actually work. It is not just marketing. It is problem solving, and I show up fully for that.
