Hi Karolina, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
A recent moment that made me laugh happened with my family during dinner. We were all sitting together, and my dad started telling funny stories about his childhood. One of them made us all laugh so hard that my mom had to cover her face with a napkin. I felt proud in that moment because even though everyone in my family has busy schedules, we still find time to sit together, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello! my name is Karolina and I’m the founder of The Romance Boulevard Inc, a brand dedicated to creating beautiful and emotional marriage proposals and romantic setups. What started as a small idea fueled by my love for romance has now become something truly special. I help people celebrate love in a meaningful way, with setups that are thoughtful.
What makes The Romance Boulevard unique is the attention we give to every little detail. Whether it’s a candlelit picnic, a heart-shaped arch, or a surprise proposal under the stars, each setup is planned with care and passion.
Right now, I’m focused on growing the brand and reaching more couples across the U.S. I’ve learned a lot on this journey, from handling unexpected weather to solving last minute challenges, and through it all, I’ve stayed grounded in what really matters: creating moments that feel personal and unforgettable.
The Romance Boulevard is more than a business to me. It’s a way to bring love into people’s lives.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I used to believe that I had to be perfect in everything I did in order to succeed or make people proud. I thought that mistakes meant I wasn’t good enough or that I had failed. Over time, I’ve learned that perfection isn’t the goal, and it’s okay to mess up, learn, and try again. Now I believe that growth comes from effort, not from being flawless.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
When I was sad or scared as a child, what helped the most was being around my family. Just hearing my mom’s voice or sitting next to someone I trusted made me feel safer. Sometimes it was something simple, like hugging my cat or watching my favorite tv show. Those little things reminded me that I wasn’t alone, and even if I didn’t fully understand what I was feeling, I knew I had people who cared about me.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
I think the public version of me is real, but it’s just one side of who I am. Around people, I try to stay positive and confident, but there’s a lot more going on inside that I don’t always show. I still have doubts, overthink things, and get overwhelmed sometimes. So yes, it’s me, but not the full version. The realest parts usually come out when I’m with people I trust.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, I think my customers would really miss the way I make them feel during the whole process. They would probably miss how I treat every setup with love and detail, like it was for someone in my own family. I think they’d also miss my honesty, my energy, and maybe even my charisma. Some clients still send me messages after their event just to say thank you or to stay in touch, and that means a lot to me. It’s not just about the setup, it’s about the connection I build with each person. That’s what makes it special.
