Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My father taught me the true value of hard work from a young age. He always emphasized that success isn’t just measured by how much money you make, but by the respect you earn through your dedication, discipline, and the positive impact you have on others. He led by example, showing me that consistent effort and staying true to your principles will eventually open doors and earn the trust of people around you. His lessons taught me that hard work builds character, and that helping others along the way is just as important as achieving your own goals. Through him, I’ve learned that influence comes not from wealth, but from how you uplift those around you.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There was a time in college when I failed a class that I thought I would pass easily. It hit me hard—I felt defeated and started questioning whether I was even cut out for what I was pursuing. For a while, I let that failure define me. But eventually, I made a decision: I wasn’t going to let one setback determine my future. I buckled down, re-took the course, put in the late nights, asked for help when I needed it, and pushed myself harder than I ever had. I passed with one of the highest grades in the class. That experience became a turning point for me. It taught me that I could overcome anything if I put my mind to it—and since then, that mindset has fueled everything I do.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Many smart people today are getting it wrong by assuming that intelligence alone is enough to guarantee success. They often look for shortcuts, thinking they can outsmart hard work with quick wins, hacks, or surface-level effort. And yes, sometimes that works—for a while. But that kind of success is short-lived. What truly lasts is built on consistency, discipline, and a willingness to grind when no one’s watching. Real results, whether in career, relationships, or personal growth, come from putting in the hard work day after day. Talent may open the door, but only hard work keeps it open.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
What I’ll regret most is not giving it my all. I don’t want to look back and wonder what could’ve happened if I had just pushed a little harder, stayed a little more focused, or taken that one risk. It’s not the failures that scare me—it’s the thought of holding back, playing it safe, or settling for less than what I’m capable of. I want to know that I showed up fully, gave everything I had, and left no potential untapped. Because at the end of the day, the real regret comes from not trying—not from trying and falling short.
