Watching small business owners grow and overcome challenges brings me joy. There is nothing better than helping people find solutions within their business that helps free their time and keep the focus on growing.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Shannon Rankin. I am the Owner of Kept Financial; a QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor that helps small business with bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Coming to an understanding that life becomes more fulfilling when my primary purpose is finding a way to give to those around me. This idea has fundamentally changed who I am as a person and what motivates my work and who I work with.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
If being a business owner was easy, everyone would do it. It’s not always a linear path. I have seen this in my own company and those I serve. We have an opportunity to capitalize on every situation and see it as opportunities to continue growing.

Personal growth is something I am committed to and believe that is reflected in my company. There is always more to learn about life and areas to grow and develop.
