We recently had the chance to connect with Tina Adams-Mason and have shared our conversation below.
Tina , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
We are most proud of the life-long relationships we’ve built—both with our team members and with our clients. Leaving someone feeling better after spending time with us is a gift and a blessing that we never take for granted.
Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where our talented hairstylists, makeup artists, and nail technicians feel supported and inspired. We strive to mentor and empower our team while giving them opportunities they may not have otherwise received.
For our clients, we hope every interaction leaves them feeling more confident, radiant, and beautiful—inside and out.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Our agency is led by nationally recognized makeup artist and CEO Tina Adams-Mason, esteemed lead hairstylist and Partner Bianca Benefield, and CFO and Event Coordinator Brian T. Mason. Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My husband and business partner, Brian T. Mason, has taught me the most about being entrepreneurial and running a business. He has never been employed by another company in his adult life, instead building a successful career as a general contractor and owner of a construction management business. Through his example, I’ve learned invaluable lessons—both in what to do and what not to do—when it comes to creating and sustaining a successful business.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
I’ve always been afraid of not being prepared enough for whatever challenge I was facing.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
When I was younger, I tried to get signed with larger agencies, but was told there wasn’t space for me unless I could do both hair and makeup. What I observed, though, was that even when individual artists offered both services, they usually excelled at just one. That inspired me to think differently: why not make the process more efficient and cost-effective by having two specialized artists—one hairstylist and one makeup artist—work simultaneously on a client? That simple shift became the foundation of our signature service.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people will remember me for creating not just my own lane in the beauty industry, but an entirely new highway. More importantly, I want to be remembered not only for achieving success, but for lifting others up and bringing them along the journey.
