Ashley is a professional Makeup Artist & costume/fashion designer Who has always been into arts such as drawing & painting thanks to her very artistic family she grew up with. Plus, she was lucky enough to have an amazing step that come into her life at the age of 8 who taught her about history & art.

In addition to that he painted miniatures & is the biggest nerd she knows that would take her to the hobby store to meet all his other nerd friends who were amazing, taught her so much about art & history. As Ashley got older she fell in love with makeup as a child watching her mother sitting at her vanity doing her hair & makeup. As well her grandma worked in the sewing & upholstering industry. Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I love creating art whether it’s on a canvas, fabric, hair or a person whatever the medium is I’m happy when I do art it makes me feel at ease & it gives me hope. All I know is I love doing this job, I what my career to expand & continue change while I get to see the world doing what I love. Plus, with each job my goal is to improving, getting better & learning something, I didn’t know before. In addition, with each person I work on I am create the best version of the character they have in their mind or the most beautiful version of themselves for their special event or weddings. However, when people look at my art I don’t want them to fill a certain feeling because each thing I do is so different as long as it makes them feel some type of filling & interested in art I’m happy

Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Luckily for me I’m a hustler, really good at working, I have a few other jobs that I went to school for plus I have some pretty amazing family & friends who are always there for me. However, it’s still a balancing act for me making enough money to pay school loans, buying new supplies, the stuff you need for your day-to-day, to have a little bit of fun every now & then. In conclusion if you plan on going into this industry all I can say is save, save, save, be smart, do your research & practicing your craft. Also, never stop taking classes & my biggest pet peeve is please learn proper sanitation you are putting things on people’s face, in their eyes. It’s important that we make sure we’re using products that are safe for the skin, face & eyes & keeping everything sanitary.
