Today we’d like to introduce you to Desiree Gonzalez.
Desiree, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I have been in the industry for 5 yrs.
I started my career working on friends, referrals, and family. Most of my experience came from working at Mac Cosmetics. I learned technique and really grew from that experience. The best part of my journey was becoming an independent freelancer and starting my own business. One of my proudest and most challenging moments happen Jan 2019 I attended a Makeup School in Moscow, Ru the school was very challenging and fun I was the first non-Russian speaking student to ever attend the school. I completed this course and received the best education in my career.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I do a lot of Bridal work, Tv. Work, Model Portfolio. I hope people can get inspired by my images; everything is detailed and layered and tailored to the client’s features.
Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Keep pushing and don’t wait around for bookings always keep busy have a side hustle, so your off-season doesn’t affect you financially. Don’t give up.
