Art & Life with Tatianna Bonaly

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatianna Bonaly.

Tatianna, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
Two long years of drafting and I finally posted my first blog article. That’s when everything started for the Tati brand. My creative career has been well rounded from playing classical piano to producing music to art to writing to graphic design. I obtained two degrees by the age of 21, my most recent being my Masters in Business with a focus in entertainment.

From experimenting and finding my talent in various creative platforms, I decided to create my own www.tatiannabonaly.com (known as “Tati Land” to my viewers). As a creator from a young age there were times I wish I had a blog to read that prepared me and told real experiences about life that I could relate to. Instead of wishing I decided to create that blog for others.

Easier said than done, when you are an introvert freshly new to the Dallas area. However, through my ups and downs and navigating the city and my 20’s, I found my voice. Expanding from my blog I created a YouTube to reach international ears. Sharing my stories and my form of art was one of the scariest decisions I have ever made, but my best decision yet.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
Besides being a therapist for all my viewers, you can formally call me a Blogger and YouTube creator. My blog will trail you through my real-life adventures in business, traveling, dating and my weight loss journey. I cover advice, tips, stories and recommendations. I strive to be the comfort place for my viewers to be real with themselves and be motivated for their future. My mission is to share, relate, connect and inspire others. There is no filtering when it comes to my blog and I expect that in return.

On the other hand, my YouTube highlights my love for international music and navigating life. I specialize in giving insight and reactions to international music/rap. My odd personality will put you on a roller coaster of laughter, inspiration, realization and deep thinking. When seeing my content and achievements just know it was never easy. Everything I have done and will continue to do is genuine and takes patience and consistency. It also did not happen overnight. Anxiety played a big role in my process and is something I battle every day. Don’t let obstacles hold you back or delay you, as it did for me. I encourage others to share and create content and stop worrying about what others will think about it. Also picking up meditation will increase your productivity; my blog covers this aspect and will guide you through it.

Do you think conditions are generally improving for artists? What more can cities and communities do to improve conditions for artists?
Seems everyone is an artist now a days, more people are creating more than ever before. The tools to create art on different platforms are available at almost everyone’s fingertips. Technology is to thank for this.

In ways things are easy and hard at the same time for artists. Art as a whole is gaining more respect in every aspect, but also being abused in ways. Since everyone is creating there is an overload of content and an easy access to the artist world. This makes it hard for really talented artist to be heard amongst the noise. However, platforms such as YouTube and other social media helps artist monetize off of their creations. It is easier to be inspired because creativity is at an all-time high and can be seen on every device.

Cities need to host more gatherings for those who are serious about their craft. There needs to be more networking events, showcases, monetization opportunities and respect for up and coming artist in the city. There should be places to display work and contribute to the cities culture.
