Today we’d like to introduce you to Yateria Pate.
Yateria , please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I have always had a deep passion for art, but I didn’t quite understand where I fit in as an artist. I was so young and lost being a mom at 22, and having the father of my child, shot dead while I was three months pregnant. I had no choice but to rely on God, which ultimately lead me to find myself, my husband and most importantly my passion in photography!
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
My art is about love, confident, and the ability to show my client emotions through my photos, rather I’m booked for a family photo session, lifestyle photos or an engagement shoot. I enjoy captivating these sacred moments and bring them to life through my work. The message that I hope my viewers take from my work is that whatever you’re vision may be it’s possible to achieve… rather it’s the vision that can be shown through the eye of a lens or a personal goal, it’s possible to achieve. You can do it!
Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Be your authentic self. It’s shows! No one else is like you, and that’s what set you apart.
