Check out Maxwell Ferguson’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maxwell Ferguson.

Maxwell, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I started FullyMaxxed at the age of thirteen in a West Texas border town known as Presidio, my hometown. Early on, writing music began as a hobby in 2013 inspired by my grandfather John Ferguson and his tastes in music (electronic music being one). Artists who inspired me around this time were Paper Diamond, Flux Pavilion, Skrillex, Rusko and a great number of others. Because of the experiences and friendships made at concerts/festival alongside my grandfather, I shaped the name “FullyMaxxed” wishing to bring those moments to the stage, only allowing positive vibes to rise to the fullest. Growing up in an environment filled with styles of music ranging from cumbias, rock, country, and little to no EDM, breaking away to a new world of sound was quite desirable, leading to the creation of FullyMaxxed. Because of my frequent performance background, I have always aimed on taking the live experience to a memorable level. No matter the style, no matter the groove, FullyMaxxed vibes will always be there for your soul. However, the combination of vocals, keytar, talkbox, and live looping applies a “cherry on top” over FullyMaxxed’s live performance. As time has passed, I have been fortunate enough to build a family of artists in which I have performed with/alongside. Names include those such as Dan Deacon, YACHT, CloZee, Tnertle, Drake Bell, LYFTD, Collidoscope, Blunt Force, Russ Liquid, and many more.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do? Why? And what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I am an electronic music artist/producer who hopes to cause positive change to the world with my music. I strive to leave FullyMaxxed listeners with the sweeter sounds of tomorrow.

What do you know now that you wished you had learned earlier?
My younger days always came with a serving of competitive stress, but a lot has changed. If I could give anyone pursuing music or my 15-year-old self advice, it would be to welcome patience, and to live positively/optimistically for the special moments!

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
My new single, “Never Know”, can be found on all common music platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, or on my website (fullymaxxed.com) on February 8th. It can also be heard live at one of my shows, which you can find out about upcoming shows on my website. The phrase ‘supporting my work’ rings very similarly to ‘listening to my work,’ simply enough!
