Today we’d like to introduce you to Anar Aliyev.
Hi Anar , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My wife and I were looking for a business that would not only complement our music schools (Lakewood Conservatory, Park Cities School of Music, and Young Artist Music School) but also bring joy to children and families. Since we already host many summer music camps, we wanted to find a way to make those camps even more fun and memorable—especially during those hot summer days ☀️🔥.
After weeks of brainstorming, we finally landed on an idea that combined fun, energy, and excitement: Foam & Bubble Parties! Because really, what’s better than music, friends, and a sea of bubbles? 💦
And that’s how Bubble Stop was born—out of our love for creating unforgettable experiences for kids and families, blending music and play into something magical.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, we’ve faced our fair share of challenges along the way. We faced the challenge of seasonality. Demand is high during the summer, but we had to think strategically about how to keep the business active during cooler months and how to stretch revenue beyond a few peak months. There were also logistical hurdles: finding the right equipment, making sure we could operate in different spaces (from backyards to parks), and of course dealing with Texas weather, which can be unpredictable and sometimes unforgiving. On top of that, balancing Bubble Stop with running our music schools required a lot of organization and long days.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Bubble Stop, we specialize in creating unforgettable foam and bubble experiences for children, families, and communities. Our work goes beyond just providing entertainment—we design interactive, safe, and joy-filled events that bring people together. Whether it’s a summer camp activity, a school celebration, a birthday party, or a large community festival, our goal is always the same: to deliver laughter, excitement, and memories that last.
What sets us apart is our background in music education. Because we also run music schools, we understand how to engage kids, how to combine fun with structure, and how to build experiences that are both entertaining and enriching. This gives us a unique edge: Bubble Stop isn’t just about foam and bubbles —it’s about creating an atmosphere filled with music, movement, and community.
We are most proud of the fact that our events are inclusive and adaptable. We’ve designed Bubble Stop so that children of all ages can participate, and families feel comfortable and confident in the quality and safety of the experience. From offering customized packages to ensuring our staff is trained to handle a variety of event settings, we’ve built a service that is both professional and personal. One of Bubble Stop’s most meaningful events took place when children in wheelchairs joined the fun. As they navigated through mountains of foam, their joy was radiant — a reminder of the power of play to create moments of freedom and happiness for every child.
Above all, we’re proud of the joy we see on kids’ faces and the relief parents feel when they know their event will be stress-free and unforgettable. That, more than anything, is what defines our work.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is seeing the joy on children’s faces when they’re fully immersed in the moment—whether that’s playing an instrument for the first time at our schools or running through a sea of bubbles at a party. There’s something so pure about that laughter and excitement. It reminds me why we started these businesses in the first place: to create experiences that bring people together and spark happiness.
I also find happiness in knowing that our work has an impact beyond the event itself. Parents often tell us how grateful they are for those carefree hours where their kids can just be kids. That sense of contributing to families’ memories—of adding a little magic to their lives—is incredibly fulfilling.
