Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We are a Non-Profit helping the homeless find homes and serving the Dallas Metroplex. We have been around for 11 1/2 years.
We use a Bus to feed our clients and then help them find ways of getting off the streets permanently.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It is not a smooth road for us. We need to fight barriers to getting people off the street. The main barrier being money in order to run the program. Money to get someone off the streets and the willingness of the client are our 2 biggest obstacles.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are set apart because we are Mobile. We go to where the needs are, the most critical, the hardest to handle, the hardest to house. We go to the worst-case scenarios.
We are proud of the fact that we have partners in all areas of service. Our Service Providers are from all sectors and require much relationship tending. These relationships help us to get our friends off the streets quicker and more efficient.
What does success mean to you?
We define success as helping someone navigate their situation to no longer being homeless.
