Today we’d like to introduce you to Chane Alexander.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started taking pictures and making videos right out of high school. The day I went to meet with my recruiter to join the Navy, he was on lunch. Next door was a Best Buy where I had made my initial investment on my first camera. Living in San Diego, CA, I was able to work with a wide variety of artist, models and business folks. Being born in Texas, I knew coming home to Dallas, I would bring my talents to help bring a new look onto the Dallas scene of photography and videography.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I have had a few struggles, bad investments, on-site technical difficulties. I always keep positive and “find a way” even if it seems there are none. All of my losses made me who I am today. I wouldn’t be a great photographer without having made a bunch of mistakes along the way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I focus mostly on music videos, being a musician myself, I know what artists want, and I understand the mathematical flow needed to have visuals ride the beats. Really anything you can do with a camera I can do. Weddings, Real Estate, Graduations, Commercial ads for businesses. I love what I do and I am really passionate about making every one of my assignments, better than the last.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people are shocked when they find out I am a musician. I can rap really well and take great joy in sharing my talents with any of my customers who are curious to wanting to hear what I have got.
