Check Out Clarissa Hyneman’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Clarissa Hyneman.

Hi Clarissa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In December 2023, I turned an ordinary closet into something sacred. It became a quiet space where I could escape the noise of daily life and meet with God. I covered the walls with scriptures, slipped my prayers into an envelope, and sat in a donated chair that became my sanctuary.
During a marriage class, my Husband and I learned about “pain and peace cycles,” and one phrase stayed with me: stand on God’s truths about who you are. That sparked a deep dive into scripture, not just for myself, but soon for others as well.
At the same time, my Husband was growing his YouTube channel, Scary to Remarry, where he often used the tagline, Scary to Remarry: Wanting You to Love Fearlessly. When he created a set of marriage conversation cards, I suggested he call them Love Fearlessly. It just felt right. But even as that project took shape, I felt a deeper pull in my own heart to share the biblical truths I had been gathering. These were truths I realized weren’t just for adults, but for children too.
At home, I was navigating the challenges of raising our four children, two of whom have autism. Between therapies, appointments, and daily stresses, I often felt overwhelmed. Yet, in the quiet of my prayer closet, I found peace. To my surprise, my children were drawn to that space as well. They would sit in the closet, read their Bibles, and ask to add their own prayers to the wall.
One day, my six-year-old asked, “Mom, how do you pray?” That question sparked the creation of their own prayer wall. I introduced posters I designed with the Fruits of the Spirit, God Says I Am affirmations, the Armor of God, and simple guides on how to pray. Before long, my children knew the affirmations by heart. I watched in awe as my six-year-old began speaking them over himself in moments of struggle.
Inspired by their resilience, I wrote my first four children’s books. Each one reflected the unique challenges and triumphs of my kids: my oldest daughter facing anxiety, my son navigating ADHD and dyslexia, and my two youngest learning to thrive with autism. These stories became my way of processing the hard moments, celebrating their strength, and rooting their journeys in God’s truth.
We officially launched at a vending event in September 2024, offering shirts, posters, and a journal. But success didn’t come easily. Event after event left me discouraged, wondering if the faith-based message was turning people away. I was ready to quit.
Today, Lovefearlessly offers 12 children’s books, 5 devotionals, journals, affirmation posters, bookmarks, and apparel. Everything is created with one purpose: to remind children they are deeply loved by Jesus and to equip parents and guardians with tools to help them stand confidently in God’s truth.
What began in a closet has become a growing brand that’s touching lives, one affirmation and one book at a time. It invites others to live, lead, and love fearlessly.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve faced moments of self-doubt as a new author, discouraging experiences, and the ongoing challenge of balancing entrepreneurship with home life, especially while raising children with unique needs. There were seasons when I felt overwhelmed and questioned whether I should continue. But during those moments, I leaned deeply on my faith and stayed committed to the calling placed on my heart. What once felt like setbacks became purpose. Those personal struggles shaped the mission behind my work and now allow me to create resources that inspire, uplift, and remind others that they are not alone.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the co-founder of Lovefearlessly Outreach, an author, and a Nurse Case Manager. I create faith-based resources for children and families, including books, devotionals, affirmation cards, and posters. Each resource is designed to help children understand their God-given identity and build confidence in His love. As a Nurse Case Manager specializing in children with special needs, and as a mother to four (including two with autism), I bring both personal and professional insight to my work.

What I’m most proud of is seeing how my books and resources help children speak God’s truths over themselves, especially in moments of challenge. What sets me apart is the blend of lived experience, faith, and heart that goes into everything I create. I turn personal struggles into tools that inspire, uplift, and remind families they are never alone in their journey.

What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, my plans are focused on strategic growth and long-term impact. I’m continuing to expand Lovefearlessly Outreach by developing additional children’s books, journals, and faith-based resources that support emotional, spiritual, and social development. I’m also planning to increase our presence in schools, libraries, and community programs, while strengthening partnerships that align with our mission. At the same time, I’m building systems that allow the business to grow sustainably while still prioritizing family. The goal is to scale with purpose, reaching more families nationwide while staying rooted in faith and service.
