Check Out Creator Jewels’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Creator Jewels.

Hello Creator Jewels, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Currently, I am a traveling musician and influencer. It took a lot of courage and consistency to reach this point of my journey.

As a kid I always loved music but I never thought I was good enough and constantly compared myself (haha still do from time to time). So, I decided to pursue other things and let my fear of not being good enough keep me from pursuing my passion.

After college, I a job at a digital marketing agency and learned as much as I could.

During this time, I started a community of Creatives called How to be Social. I hosted workshops, panels, and showcases for artists to network and learn business skills.

In 2020 I launched How To Be Social as a talent agency. I managed around 40 people during that year and realized very quickly it wasn’t sustainable.

I decided to go back solo but nothing was ever the same after that. My heart just wasn’t in marketing for my clients anymore.

That same year I met a group of creatives that I traded services with; music production for my marketing and business skills.

Music allowed me to get back in touch with my feelings and emotions. There were a lot of traumatic events surrounding my relationships that I had been suppressing.

Music opened me up and made me realize I needed to work on healing my heart.

Now I create music to inspire and empower others to reach their highest potential off. I’ve always been an influencer but now I’m focused on really connecting with partners to help me spread my message of love and empowerment.

Currently planning my hidden gem tour for May and I couldn’t be more excited about traveling and meeting new human beings. 💖

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not.

My mental health in 2021 was the worst hit it ever had been. I went through a long cycle of anxiety and depression. There were multiple times where I wanted to take my life. I knew there were people out there that needed me and I never did.

February 10th, I released “I Wanna Live” a song meant to give people hope when they’re feeling desperation.

We just released the Music Video which you can watch here:

We all go through struggles and I think it’s important to be honest about the struggles. I’ll try my best to share the ups and downs in life on my social media.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a musician with a little talent for guitar and a lot of talent when it comes to writing.

I guess you could say it’s my specialty. 😉

I’m known for being authentic, confident, and positive.

I am most proud of my journey and how much healing I’ve done since last year.

My honesty. If I feel wrong about something I’ll speak up.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
You’ve gotta be willing to risk it all if you really love it.

There are times to rest but you only got one life to live and if you’re not running after your passions then what’s the point of spending your time on something that doesn’t make you happy?

Definitely take the time to plan out your next move but if your intuition is telling you to jump, go for it.

My favorite adventures in life have always been the ones I didn’t know what would happen next.
