Hi Damon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Pick up my 1st pair of clippers at 12, my mother purchased them from finger hut when haircuts went from $4 to $6! Started as a pastime, and turned into a passion, and realized it was my Gift.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Not always when I moved to the metroplex I didn’t know what I was going to end up doing but I’ve always carried my clippers with me growing up in Tyler, Tx. in Nebraska, Louisiana, and now DFW
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Barbering, I’m most proud that I have free range to use my creativeness throughout my barbering career, what sets me apart is my memory I can remember names styles, and birthdays I know to some that might sound weird or crazy but when you can remember your client’s birthday it means something
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Listen more than you speak, be on time and be accurate in your work, time is money
