Check Out Deborah Guerrero’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deborah Guerrero

Hi Deborah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve been a registered nurse since 2008 and have spent most of my career in the emergency department. It’s a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, but it taught me so much about the importance of preventative care, hydration, and overall wellness. Over the years, I kept seeing people show up to the ER for things that could’ve been prevented or treated more easily—if only they had better access to care.

That really stuck with me. I saw a need for something more convenient, more personal—healthcare that could actually meet people where they are, both literally and emotionally.

In May 2023, I launched Recharge Wellness with that vision in mind. We started with mobile IV therapy here in the DFW area, offering hydration and vitamin infusions right to people’s doors. It quickly became clear how much this kind of care resonated, so we expanded into prescription weight loss across Texas with compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, and then added our NUTRAFi vitamin sprays—because not everyone wants a needle to stay healthy!

Every product and service we offer is something I use myself and truly believe in. My goal has always been to create something that feels accessible, supportive, and real—like you’re being cared for by someone who actually listens and gets it.

Outside of work, I’m a wife and a mom to four amazing kids. My husband and I moved to North Texas in 2015 and have really made this place our home. Balancing family life and business hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Transitioning from a hospital-based nursing role to running my own business was a massive change. I knew how to care for people, no question—but suddenly I had to wear all the hats: marketer, scheduler, compliance expert, business owner. That learning curve was steep.

I come from an entrepreneurial family, so I was lucky to have people around me who understood the rollercoaster. They’ve been a huge support system. But figuring out how to provide flexible, mobile care while still upholding high medical standards and staying compliant with changing regulations? That took a lot of trial and error.

Also, healthcare is changing. People are tired of long waits, high costs, and feeling like just another number. Recharge Wellness is part of a shift—a more human, direct-to-patient model—and being on the front lines of that change has its own set of challenges. But every time a client tells me they feel better, more empowered, more cared for—that makes every tough day worth it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Recharge Wellness is all about personalized, accessible care. When you reach out, you’re not getting an automated reply—you’re getting me. I take pride in handling each client interaction myself, bringing my emergency nursing background and a whole lot of heart to the table.

We specialize in mobile IV therapy in the DFW area, prescription weight loss throughout Texas using compounded GLP-1 medications, and our NUTRAFi line of sublingual vitamin sprays—which are great for people who want quick, effective support without needles or pills.

What makes us different is how personal it all is. I know my clients. I remember their stories. I’ve cheered them on when they hit their goals and supported them when things got tough. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter care—everything we do is tailored to the individual.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that we’re building something based on education and trust. We’re not pushing fads or quick fixes—we’re offering real, science-backed tools that help people feel better, safely and sustainably.

At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to help people feel their best in a way that works for them. And I love that I get to do that every single day.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Starting Recharge Wellness was, hands down, the biggest risk I’ve ever taken.

I had a secure job in the hospital, a steady income, and four kids at home. On paper, it didn’t make sense to walk away. But I had this vision I couldn’t ignore—a better, more flexible kind of healthcare. One that wasn’t bound by waiting rooms or rigid systems. One that actually fit into people’s real lives.

Now, I’m not naturally a big risk-taker. I’m a planner, I overthink everything—but this felt different. It felt necessary. I leaned on my faith, my family, and my emergency nursing grit, and I went for it.

To me, risk-taking doesn’t mean being impulsive—it means trusting your instincts, doing your homework, and being brave enough to bet on yourself. And while it’s been scary at times, I have zero regrets. Every challenge has helped me grow, and every win—big or small—has reminded me why I took that leap in the first place.

Now I get to show my kids what’s possible when you follow your passion and work hard for it. That alone makes it all worth it.
