Make Expression is a creative studio in Frisco where anyone can explore art, relax, and make lasting memories. Founded from my lifelong passion for art and supported by my family, it’s a place that’s welcoming, spacious, and full of fun, easy-to-do projects. Our team of passionate artists guides you every step, so you don’t need to be an artist to create something amazing. At Make Expression, you’re not just making art—you’re making memories.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey hasn’t been easy—balancing family life with running a business, learning everything from leases to marketing, and facing uncertain days when I wondered if people would come. But with persistence, creativity, and the support of my community, Make Expression has grown into a place full of laughter, art, and memories.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve loved art since I was a child, and I’ve always dreamed of helping people through creativity. I started my career in accounting and later became a Montessori teacher, but my heart kept pulling me back to art. With my husband’s support, I opened Make Expression so families, friends, coworkers, or even individuals could enjoy art—whether or not they consider themselves artists. What makes me proud is that we’ve created a space with something for everyone, where people can connect, express themselves, and make lasting memories.

What matters most to me is helping people connect and express themselves through creativity. Art has been my passion since childhood, and with my husband’s support, I built Make Expression to give families, friends, and individuals a space to slow down, create, and make lasting memories together.
