Check Out Holly Woodlee’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Holly Woodlee.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Honestly, I never really thought about starting my own business. I am actually a nurse by trade and was looking for a way to make some additional income while not spending so many of my hours away from home. You see, as a healthcare provider we sometimes need to have breaks from reality. Travel was my escape. I was incredibly lucky to have grown up on all things Disney. I have been more times than I can count and once I got married and started having kids, they went too. About 5 years ago, we had a big multi-generational trip planned to Walt Disney World, I needed a little extra help planning all the details and found Sabrina with The Enchanted Traveler. She planned out our entire trip and when I got back, I decided to apply to the Agency. The rest is history. It is in my nature to help and care for others and I absolutely love helping other families plan their stress-free dream vacations. I have been blessed beyond measure to have found my role with The Enchanted Traveler. Life is such an adventure and I am so lucky to be able to help others along their journey.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Anytime you try to start up a business you are going to have rough patches. I did struggle in the beginning because I was still learning all the ways of doing business and trying to gain new clients. I am not a haggler AT ALL. I respect people’s choices and not everyone will see the benefit of doing business with me. There are lots of people who feel like Travel Planners are a thing of the past, but I can assure you that is not the case. Now more than ever, people need planners to help with all the ins and outs of the travel business. Over time I have proved my worth in this industry. My reputation and client profile have grown tremendously and my work speaks for itself. The biggest compliment I can get is to have return clients. People choose to rely on me over and over because they know I will take care of them on a personal level all while making their vacation dreams come true. I genuinely love people!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Our agency is different than other travel agencies in the fact that we work with our clients from the moment of first contact until they literally get home from their trips. My goal is to create the most detailed custom vacations for my clients that is catered to each families wants and needs. I spend numerous amounts of time coming up with the perfect plan, gathering information, and then finally putting all that information down into a completed detailed daily itinerary for our families. I then combine my knowledge with the family’s wants and desires to create the perfect custom vacation. Not any two itineraries are the same because not any two families are the same. I am incredibly proud of the service I provide to my clients. I get to know each family and by the time they travel, they feel more like family than a business transaction. I specialize in all things Disney, Universal, Cruises, All-Inclusive Vacations, and Hawaii. I pride myself in being upfront and honest about real expectations and goals. I want my clients to feel special and important. It isn’t about the number but the quality of work I provide. Travel can sometimes be hard and my job is to make it easy. I am also certified in IBCCES travel. That just means I am specialty trained in travel for special needs families. I have a son who is high functioning autistic and traveling can be extremely stressful. I have made it a passion of mine to help other families with members of the special needs community to be able to travel easier with my knowledge and support. I just want the world to know that I am made for more. I am meant to love others as myself. I am meant to make a difference in people’s lives. As crazy as this sounds, be the person who makes someone smile today.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Create something of value and dream big! What you want to do is create something that will be of value to your consumers and I believe I offer something valuable. I believe in my vision and passion for my company. The most important lesson I have learned is to do business with integrity. Respect other people and operate on a genuine foundation of authenticity.
