Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Stovall.
Jasmine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born into this fabulous cosmetology world. So, I guess you can say I inherited the interest of “all things beauty”. When I was a kid my Great Grandmother and Mother styled hair together in a salon in South Dallas. Watching them daily sparked my interest to learn their techniques. With practice and perfection, I eventually gained a good amount of clientele. I started styling my peer’s hair in high school out of the same salon. Over time I began to explore other talents which lead me to wardrobe styling and my fav freelance makeup. I have been so grateful for these talents as it has given me the opportunity to earn additional income while doing things I enjoy. With great gratitude, I thank all my past, present, and future clients for trusting my style. Jizzle Rehab gives all efforts to rehabilitating Beauty, Style, and Confidence.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Throughout my journey, I can’t say it has all been peachy cream. You have those times where you doubt yourself or the industry becomes over-saturated so it becomes a little more difficult to stand out. I just try to stay consistent and true to my craft.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I find pride in accomplishing anything I put my mind to. I can style your hair. I can put together a bomb outfit. I can even do your makeup. And, I do them all very well. That’s what sets me apart from everyone else.
What do you think about luck?
I have been lucky enough not to fail. Some may say it’s luck but it’s also determination and the will of God.
