Check Out Jobe Sanchez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jobe Sanchez.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started 27 years ago as a hat shaper working for Sheplers Western Wear and I’ve been in the western industry for a long time. In 2018 American Hat Co named us the “Trail Blazers” in the Hispanic community with our unique hat shaping skills. We’re going now in 10 years this November 2026

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been that easy. We started a new business in the Hispanic market so it was challenging introducing a new vaquero style but with dedication and educational experience and skills we made a name of ourselves

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’d love to draw, paint, design and create new hat shapes that are unique to Jobes Hats.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Just be your self and don’t try to copy others
