Hi Karen, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
There is a much longer version on our website if you would like to read “About Us” and there are some really fun pictures of us on our Instagram. Bobby and I met in the 6th grade and quickly formed a grade school friendship, which grew into a deeper friendship through junior high and high school. It wasn’t until our sophomore year in college that being best friends grew into a deeper relationship and we began dating over a holiday break from college. Now 50 years later, we are still best friends and have been married 40 years.

Integrity Stone is a family business born from Bobby and Karen Crow’s passion for serving others and their love for stone. With decades of experience and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, the Crow’s have created a unique service known as the Concierge Stone Experience™, offering personalized stone curation and industry-leading fabrication.
Bobby and Karen’s journey to starting Integrity Stone was fueled by their desire to elevate the stone fabrication process and share their passion with others. After years of prayer and facing job changes, they launched the company in 2018, determined to create something different in the stone industry. Their dedication, combined with their decades of hands-on experience and established connections, set them apart from competitors. By 2021, their daughter McKenzie had joined the business full-time, taking on major projects and further growing Integrity Stone’s reputation as Fort Worth’s go-to stone fabricators and a true family venture.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We have been incredibly blessed in our journey as a family business. As an artisan fabricator and stone curator, we’ve built our foundation on high-touch relationships and genuine personal relationships with our clients and suppliers. That said, our challenges have primarily been the wonderful problems of growth and those stretching moments have made us stronger both as a family and as a business.
When demand increased and our operation expanded, we realized we needed to evolve beyond the instincts and practices that got us started. Rather than viewing this as a struggle, we saw it as an opportunity. We reached out to successful business leaders in our industry and community, learning from their experiences and wisdom. By implementing proven systems and practices they shared with us, we were able to scale without losing the intimate, personalized service that defines who we are.
Through every challenge, we’ve pulled together as a family. That unity has been our greatest strength. Each obstacle has stretched us, sharpened our skills, deepened our relationships, and reinforced our commitment to both craftmanship and the people we serve. We’re grateful that every struggle has been a growth opportunity in disguise.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are best known for our Concierge Stone Experience™, a high-touch process where we guide clients through every detail of a project.
From curating to fabrication, maintenance to restoration, Integrity Stone is a full-service company. As stone curators, we locate the best quality stone for our clients. We also specialize in artisan fabrication of the stone, whether that is a straight, detailed, or uniquely crafted design. Because an important aspect of having natural stone elements is ensuring that the stone is appropriately sealed and maintained, we also provide education on best practices for stone care as well as maintenance and restoration services. The versatility of natural stone means it can be used both on interior and exterior applications of a home for countertops, tabletops, fireplaces, hearths, bathrooms, as a decorative addition to desks and cabinets and much more. When selecting the best stone for a project, it is important to understand how the surface or area will be used as well as expectations for upkeep. With that in mind, Integrity Stone is known for our Concierge Stone Experience™,, where we walk our clients through each step of the process. We do a deep dive and ask specific questions in order to get a clear vision of the project. Personal connection is at the heart of all of our work, whether it is helping a family chose a durable quartzite or granite that can withstand a lifetime of crafts, parties and holiday traditions or a dream bathroom with the most elegant and hard to find marble, or an exotic stone that only comes around every once in a while. For many homes and commercial projects, natural stone becomes the focal point and the star of the show, guiding the overall color palette and design, which is why we encourage working with the builder, designer, and/or architect from the beginning stages of the project. Our work includes new builds, remodels, restoration and remodeling of older historic homes, and outdoor living areas as well as commercial projects. We have carved a niche in creating and fabricating some of the most luxurious homes, amenity areas of multi-family and senior living projects, corporate offices and corporate bank offices and lobby banking. We are also known for solving problems and creating unique and custom designed pieces, such as a custom designed conference table that was 45 feet long and utilized 5 slabs, as well as a very specific and multi-step process to create an artfully modern and timeless reception lobby desk.
We are most proud of the relationships we have formed over the 70+ years combined experience working in the stone industry and creating and crafting works of art for clients. We believe what sets us apart is that our work is a deeply personal journey, where we treat every client like family and every slab like a masterpiece.
