Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Martinez.
Kevin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a kid, I always liked art and drawing. And I was always fascinated when I would see people with tattoos. And I decided to start tattooing at a young age at 15 to do art on people’s bodies. I’m currently 20 and I love what I do. Has a Hispanic tattoo artist and very heavily Hispanic household, it was challenging but here we are now
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. Family denied my passion, I taken many nos from apprenticeships so I taught myself

Tattoo. I tattoo every day, and I’m proud that I never gave up. I started at a young age 15… and there were days I wanted to give up but I’m glad I didn’t.
