Today we’re excited to be connecting with Khadijah Abrams again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Khadijah, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
Hey there! I’m Khadijah Abrams, founder of Made Worthy Journal Notebooks LLC. I created this brand with one simple idea: You are Worthy! My goal is to remind you that no matter what life throws your way, you deserve love, respect, and the chance to write your own story.
Made Worthy offers 16 different journal designs—both softcover and hardcover—from Affirmation Journals to Fitness Logbooks, Sermon Notes journals, and self-guided notebooks. Each one is designed to inspire, motivate, and keep you on track with your personal journey.
The name “Made Worthy” comes from my own journey of self-discovery. Growing up, I faced some confidence challenges that made me question my worth, and journaling became my space for healing and reflection. That’s why I created these journals—to remind you of your value, every day. Whether it’s an affirmation like “You are Worthy,” “You are Beautiful,” or “It Is Well,” these words are meant to empower you and help you stay focused on your goals.
What sets us apart is the intention behind every journal. They’re tools for confidence, growth, and reflection, and most importantly, they remind you that you are #MadeWorthy. Whether you’re tracking fitness progress, taking sermon notes, or reflecting on your day, our journals are here to support you in capturing the milestones and moments that matter.
Each journal is more than just paper—it’s a space for you to grow, express yourself, and remember that you are worthy of everything life has to offer.
Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Wow, time really does fly! It’s hard to believe that in June 2025, I’ll be celebrating 5 years since I launched Made Worthy Journal Notebooks. Reflecting back on this journey, I’ve learned one major lesson—consistency is key. But, as we all know, life really does life, and sometimes things don’t go as planned.
The early years of business were booming, and I was hitting stretch goals month after month, which felt amazing. However, I hit a personal milestone in 2022—I got engaged! And then, in July 2023, I married the love of my life. Anyone who’s planned a wedding knows just how all-consuming that process can be. It definitely impacted the attention I was able to give to promoting my journals. Unfortunately, this led to a bit of a decline in sales, though not a full stop—just a decline.
Now that my husband and I are settled into our new city and both have new jobs, I’m incredibly excited to focus on picking up the momentum again in year 5. I’ve always believed in the power of journaling, and it’s more important than ever to showcase how it can help with self-reflection, staying positive, and speaking life into your situation—whether in good times or bad. I can’t wait to share more content, really emphasize why journaling matters, and keep building this community.
Since we last connected, I’ve added a few exciting new journals to the lineup, including an I AM Affirmation Journal designed to help you speak good things to yourself every day. It’s all about creating ‘me time’ and pouring into yourself. I’ve also launched 4 fitness logbooks because we need to take control of our health and track our progress—these journals help you stay on top of your fitness goals, food intake, and more.
I’m also proud to say that we’ve introduced hardcover journals to accompany our existing softcover options, which has been an exciting addition. On top of that, I’ve had the opportunity to lead 3 Journaling 101 sessions for different outreach and community groups, teaching people how to get started with journaling and showing them how powerful this practice can be.
One of the biggest highlights was being asked to create a special edition journal for a women-led nonprofit organization during Women’s International Month. It was such an honor to collaborate with them and create a journal just for their group.
Looking back at how far Made Worthy has come—starting in a pandemic and continuing to flourish today—I’m beyond grateful for this journey. It’s been a lot of hard work, but I’m so proud of this vision that God allowed me to bring to life. Now, it’s time to keep pushing forward, stay consistent, and keep promoting the line. There’s so much more to come!

What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
What I want people to remember about both me and Made Worthy Journal Notebooks is that you are worthy—plain and simple. That’s the foundation of everything we do. Every journal, whether it’s for affirmations, fitness, or sermon notes, is a reminder that you are deserving of…blank (You fill in what you need/want)!
What sets Made Worthy apart is its focus on empowerment and self-discovery. Our journals aren’t just about taking notes—they’re tools for personal growth, positivity, and reflection. They’re designed to give you space to breathe, to focus on what matters, and to document your journey, no matter where you are or what life throws your way.
Made Worthy isn’t just a brand, it’s a mindset—a reminder that we’re all on a journey of self-love, healing, and growth. I want people to know that these journals were created with you in mind, to encourage, inspire, and help you stay consistent as you work toward your goals and celebrate your wins big, small, or somewhere in between.
