Today we’d like to introduce you to Kill Will.
Hi Kill, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Well, I go by my DJ name Kill Will like the movie Kill Bill, I’m Just a local Dj here in San Antonio, Texas Trying make a name for myself, trying to get out there and DJ at bars/clubs here in San Antonio or Austin Area for now. How did I get started? What made me become a DJ well one reason would be I have known these 2 twin brothers, Ryan & Chris (preyeme Limted) that have been DJ’n and graphic designing since middle school, years later after high school, they started up their own clothing brand and started putting out their own DJ mixes on SoundCloud so that inspired me to do the same. Another reason is because my dad used to DJ when he was like 17 years old., And I also love music… like I old school music like I have old school,80’s/90’s RnB and rap music and the early 200s and of course I like today’s music.What I would like to do is bring People together here in Sa and make the music scene/party scene or nightlife scene here a little better don’t get me wrong there is a lot of good talent here. If you go on to my SoundCloud “mixedbykillwill” you will hear local Texas Artist on my latest DJ mixes “Mixin On a Sunday”. You Will hear like Artist Dallas very Own Wasteey Monroe, Soul Wavy S3nsi Molly, um Austin Artist Quin NFN, And San Antonio Artist Like Baby Aztro, Roland Ryan, Banco Ray, Southside Hoodlum &, etc. My goal is to start being more social and start networking, grow as a Dj, and then to one day open up my own Club here in San Antonio where everybody could always come out and enjoy themselves and have live performances that would be cool so yeah that’s pretty much my story
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t really been a smooth road life is going to have its ups and downs you just got to keep going. Like I said I need become more social and start networking with people that a few reason why I’m not like big-time DJ but I’m willing to grow
