Hi Kitirne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am passionate about creating and cooking with my own seasonings because I believe that the food we eat should not only taste delicious but also be healthy and nourishing. This passion was sparked over 20 years ago when I realized that store-bought seasonings often contained excessive amounts of salt, chemicals, and fillers. I wanted to have control over the ingredients I used to season my food and avoid the negative health effects of consuming too much sodium.

My journey with creating blended seasonings began as a personal endeavor to simplify the seasoning process. I didn’t want to rely on multiple bottles of seasonings to flavor my dishes, so I started experimenting with blending my own combinations. Over time, I refined my recipes and began to pay more attention to the quality and health benefits of the ingredients I used.

Through my research, I discovered the benefits of using pink Himalayan salt, which has over 30 health benefits. It doesn’t raise blood pressure, helps regulate water retention, and can even assist with blood sugar control for diabetics. This became a key ingredient in my blended seasonings, along with other natural spices, herbs, and vegetables.

As I started sharing my blended seasonings with friends and family, I realized that I could help others who were looking for healthier alternatives to store-bought seasonings. I began selling my products at farmers markets, where I had the opportunity to interact with customers and educate them about the benefits of my low-sodium, natural seasonings.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly, no, it hasn’t been a smooth journey—but I appreciate where I am and where I’m growing. One of the biggest challenges I faced was realizing that I started my company backwards. I knew I wanted to blend my own seasonings, put them in bottles, and sell them, but I didn’t have a solid plan in place. What made it even more difficult was that I couldn’t find the right bottles for my products until a year later.

Looking back, there were so many things I should have done before launching my business, but instead, I jumped in headfirst and started selling. As I continued, I learned more, did deeper research, and figured out what was truly best for my company. Through trial and error, I’ve now created a line of flavorful seasonings that make eating clean both easy and delicious.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Like many, I started working in the food industry at a young age, but my career took a different path when I transitioned into driving commercial vehicles. After more than 20 years on the road, I decided it was time for a change and took a job with the post office. While working there, I realized that I wanted more out of life than just working for someone else. Cooking has always been my passion, and my dream was to open a restaurant.

Then, life threw some unexpected challenges my way—COVID happened, and I suffered a pelvis injury at work. That was my turning point. I asked myself, What’s next? How can I turn this into something better? That’s when I decided to create and sell my own blended seasonings.

What makes my seasonings special is their versatility and bold flavor. With just one bottle, you can season anything—whether you’re frying chicken, making spaghetti, tacos, Salisbury steak, or meatloaf, my blends do it all. The thing I’m most proud of is that I took a chance on myself and put my products out into the world.

What sets me apart is my passion and commitment to quality. I’m dedicated to creating seasonings that not only enhance flavor but also allow people to enjoy their food without worrying about health risks. My goal is to provide a product that people can appreciate, love, and trust in their kitchens every day.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Right now, the biggest way someone can collaborate with me or support my business is by trying my seasonings and sharing their experience through word-of-mouth. My blends taste amazing, and I want more people to know about them! Simply telling friends and family about my products goes a long way in helping my business grow.

I also have some exciting ideas for collaborations, especially with fellow food lovers. I’d love to partner with chefs or home cooks to create cooking shows that highlight how easy it is to make delicious, simple meals using my seasonings. Seeing my blends in action can help people realize that flavorful cooking doesn’t have to be complicated.
