Check Out Krystal Philippe-Auguste’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Philippe-Auguste

Hi Krystal, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I moved from Miami,Fl with the current photography studio I work for (Nuovo Artistic Studios) and transferred here to their Dallas location. Since I was already helping women feel empowered with the photography skills that I learned there, I figured I could also help empower women with my other talents I decided to start my Pole instructing while I was here to help other women. I got expert certified and got my certificate and levels one and two for Pole instruction. I moved here not knowing anyone and have made a great community of friends and colleagues.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but it’s been a fun journey so far. My first obstacles were, me not knowing anyone in Dallas, let alone Texas period. It has been a cultural shock, but I think I’m adjusting pretty well. I did go through a little depression because I was here alone, but I had to pick myself up and start taking myself out and going out by myself. That meant putting myself in uncomfortable situations like going to the bars/clubs by myself, going to my apartment pool and talking to strangers, even talking to strangers out in public

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I currently am a semi nude, artistic photographer, and a dance instructor. My specialties in Dance include Pole, heels, chair dances, hip-hop, etc. I’m most known for dancing. I’ve been a dancer my whole life, but I’m most proud of my own bravery. I put myself in positions where most would be too scared to try. But in this life, you have to use it before you lose it. And I also want to help others find it.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can be collaborate and support by sharing my work honestly. I think a lot of times people just don’t know what’s out there and just have to be exposed to it. I would love to have more students. I want to create more art with other creatives and help others discover their artistic sides all while empowering them through movement and photography
