Check Out Mawntel Miller’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mawntel Miller.

Hi Mawntel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey started as growing up as the youngest in my family. Bound to be observant. Due to that, i was embedded with curiosity & open mindedness. I was intrigued by so many things, that it led me to being involved in learning so many crafts. I think that’s where me being multifaceted comes from. I’ve always loved creation, i think that’s human beings at their highest self, we all got here through imagination and creation. I grew up wanting to be an astronomer, my friend asked me one time if i was a model, i said no of course, he invited to the shoot and by the end of the shoot, the photographer said to me “never quit modeling”, i simply did obeyed and it’s like modeling came and it never left. My mother and father grew up heavily involved in music. My mother was a gospel singer and my dad was an artist, i was always in the studio with my dad ages 1-3. Though i never wanted to make music, just like modeling, i was invited to a session, the engineer looks at me and tells me to never stop making music, that as well, came and never left.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
expectations has been the cause of my bumpy roads. in the field that i’m in, there’s so many moving parts, redirections, patience, and when you have expectations, disappointments can hit a little harder.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a Model, Dancer, Singer, Director, Writer, and Audio Engineer. I specialize an imagine consulting, creating and curating an image. I’m most proud of my consistency, and facing adversity, remaining to be unwaveringly confident in myself.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up very extroverted, loved being friends with everyone. Overtime i became more introverted, im a lot more weary of the energy i let around me. I was always into music growing up, i think for its not about what i’m into, its about is there even anything im not into.
