Today we’d like to introduce you to Micki Theartist
Hi Micki, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Yes, my story started when I was young. I got bullied really bad and talked about dang near treated like dirt. I remember one time you know I was at school and I was thrown in a locker and my mom had to come up there and actually get me out because she was looking for me. What made me start doing music is just being able to escape being able to feel like I have a safe space or being able to have a reality that I made up on my own escape of the hard times that I’ve been through. I feel like young women, young men should be strong and know from my story that I became strong and had so much power into just being the light that I am today Makes me bring you to a reality that you created on your own with your own creative mind and I’m just so thankful to be able to explore and give the world something that I created .
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not I feel like when it’s something right for you it’s never going to be smooth. It’s never going to be easy just being able to push myself back being able to see myself saying OK I’m gonna take a break. I’m gonna start over. That is the works of a perfect artist And just being able to say that I’m going to do it procrastination these are the works of becoming the greatest artist I’m not saying of all time no lol i’m just saying to be able to know that you’re good and you’re great and everything that you do so yes it was a lot of hard work. It was a lot of effort. I had to do everything on my own still do sometimes and being able to perform a show travel style myself it was a lot so it had me doing some step backs, but I came back pretty strong every time so that’s how I knew that that was something I wanted to do so the struggles are real and it’s progress.

Hi, my name is Micki the artist I am an upcoming artist in Dallas Texas. I love making alternative R&B and rap music and just being able to fulfill peoples soul with good energy and good aura is my duty. I’ve been doing music since about 2017 just being able to perfect my craft And just coming into this game pretty strong and positive I know sometimes I lack confidence but I know that as I get older and as I do it, I grow more in my confidence. Sets me a part is just being able to be a people person I love helping out people I love being able to see people shine and see people you know they’re growth , and just the biggest supporter, you would call me a fan girl lol cause I love just rooting for people and helping people out as well and a lot of people don’t do that nowadays a lot of people is for themselves which is very hard but also we gotta remember to give a lending hand when a hand is offered or we can offer a hand so that will set me apart
What matters most to you? Why?
What matter and most it says giving a good performance on deep down I never wanted to be a star or famous. I just wanted to be a well-known good all-around artist so what matters to me it’s just giving good performance to the audience feeling their energy feeling knowing that we having a good time that’s all that matters to me.
