Check Out Rachael Elise Design’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachael Elise Design.

Hi Rachael Elise, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I had the dream of designing and selling homes since I was a little girl, and knew I had to make it come true.

About 13 years ago, I began in apartment homes to learn commercial real estate, but wanted to branch into residential real estate. I received my real estate license in 2014 and began selling homes. A lot of my clients needed staging to help sell the home faster, and that’s where Rachael Elise Design began.

In the last 2 years, I have dedicated myself fully to interior design, and love every minute of it. I have differentiated myself in the world of interior designers by offering clients multiple services including 3D design and mood boards. I have structured my interior design service by the hour to accommodate my client’s budget and time. In the last year, I have remodeled homes with furniture, paint and lighting, as well as renovated kitchens, bathrooms, and entire homes with 3D design to give a visual before the investment was made. I believe every client has a unique situation, and I always strive to achieve theirs.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In interior design and construction there is never a smooth road. I always tell my clients that A, B & C might not work, but we will always find a solution. For example, I had a kitchen renovation that had problem after problem. When my clients would call to tell me something else had happened or the contractor couldn’t do something, I would make sure to let them know it would be ok and come up with other options to find the solution. I always say, “Everything happens for a reason” and most of the time the project ends up being even better than the original plan.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As an interior design, I create what my client has always wanted, but doesn’t know how to bring it to life. I specialize in interior design by being able to come up with multiple ideas until my client feels as though it matches their vision. I am most proud of creating beautiful designs while always having the client’s budget in mind, and striving to stay within it. One of my taglines is “Bougie on a Budget” we all love nice things, but want the best deals. I have set myself apart as an interior designer by offering multiple services that is sure to give the client the options they need to have their home, office or apartment the way they have always dreamed.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories would be while I was growing up in Fredericksburg, Texas. My mom, who is also an interior designer, worked on Main St. in some of the best interior design showrooms. As a little girl, I would play with fabrics, pillows, and anything else I could find to build a fort into my dream home.
