Check Out Sarah Amrou’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Amrou.

Hi Sarah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Been back in the states after living abroad for over 10 years from Europe, to the Middle East and parts of Asia. I was born in the west, Texas, but I am of Phoenician origin with a trilingual tongue. Running my creative agency for a few years now, I’ve been able to enjoy my entrepreneurship and still have time to create art. I’m an adventurous person and a sucker for details.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A lot of times at creative agencies, people tend to focus too much on whether or not a project or idea is award-worthy. This is where the client’s goals and the agency’s goals can clash. Of course, we want to create the best possible work that breaks barriers and does something different. But when we purely focus on whether or not a project will get an award, we lose our perspective on why the client hired us in the first place. This is all to say that at saniia, our main focus is our client’s goals and supporting them for their awards first and foremost.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Poised to shift paradigms, Saniia is a full-service independent branding, design, marketing, advertising, and innovation company. We work as a full-service branding consultancy and production laboratory developing brands, media, and technology for brands to use for interacting with their audiences. Our agency combines research, design, and advertising operations into one studio to create innovative marketing infrastructure, processes, and methodologies.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
My dad once described me as “the infinitely happy child” because I was super upbeat all the time. I’d say that I was super creative and curious. A social spirit – always outside and sometimes getting into trouble because of my rebellious soul.
