Shandra, a native of Chicago, is all about helping beauties be BeYOUtiful!
For the past 30 years hair and beauty have always been my passion. I can recall back to my youth, playing beauty shop with friends, I was always styling hair.
I became a “kitchen beautician “for a while, however, my career paths led me to the Cooperate America sector & hair took a back seat. I would still volunteer my services at the women’s shelter from time to time, and still even remember styling coworkers’ hair at the office when I was back in Chicago.
Married and relocated to Tx in 2013, & it wasn’t until I moved here that I heard from God to follow my passion. I did just that! Enrolled in Ogle School of Hair in 2015. I worked full-time and attended school part-time. Graduated with great rewards and accolades in 2017. Feeling accomplished, I was walking in my purpose, but also burning the candle at both ends, Full time 9-5 Job & full-time hairstylist. I decided to take a huge leap of faith in 2021 and left Corporate America to become a full-time Entrepreneur!
I am an independent stylist who specializes in Healthy hair and Luxury extensions. Certified in Luxury extensions , I also provide classes to stylist & students wanting to learn Luxury extension techniques.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not a smooth road, attending school While holding down a full-time job was rough. I had very little time for myself or my family. My marriage took a hit because of it. Through God’s grace, we are still together, stronger than ever. He is the wind beneath my wings!

I’d have to say My clients deserve all the credit because without them, none of this would be possible. I am inspired by everyone who sits in my chair. We laugh, we cry, we sinc, we just have a great time. I always tell I love great energy. It’s my driving force. My clients bring the great energy, and I match it!
